A good Chinese bistro!! The food tasted excellent, had the chicken and shrimp hot plate, very flavorful!! The menu has a lot of different varieties of Asian food! The staff was friendly and the service was quick! Will try other dishes the next time around!!
Great fresh, food. Staff were very friendly. Love this local spot. Nice to have dine in Asian food...there aren't many of these kinds of places left that I know of in Jax.
$15 for lunch General Tsos. WEAK. I went cause reviews and there was literally 8 pieces of chicken 6 broccoli and probably 4 oz of rice for $15! That is disgustingly over priced. I don’t think I’ve ever finished Chinese food in a sitting maybe not even 2 sittings for $15. I ate this n was barely filled up. Absurd prices for standard Chinese takeout.

We have been looking for a local Chinese restaurant in Jacksonville and we're so pleased to try this one after having soo many that were not worth returning to... we were looking for great sweet and sour pork, and shrimp and snow peas ... well we have found it!!! They know exactly how to deliver on these!! Thank you soo much!!! We will be back.. additionally everything smelled amazing so may need to branch out... the service was also wonderful!! Do recommend to everyone looking for great Chinese food!
Went peony’s today was told the wait was 10 minute even though their were empty tables in the front of the restaurant we assumed because we were a party of two that they wanted to seat us at a smaller table. 3 minutes later a white couple came in and were seated immediately at the table for 5/6 in the front. Noticing our outraged the waitress said “your table is ready” . We were seated at the last table in the restaurant and the only table without a glass table top. Total discrimination at this place not to mention the food was not good ??????
We had carryout to take back to our hotel. The Kungpow Chicken was outstanding. The best I ever had. perfectly spicy, lots of vegetables and chicken.My husband had the Sweet and Sour Park and he loved it! Thank you for making such high quality Asian food! Would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
Food and service has declined badly.I have eaten at this restaurant for years.Their food was excellent as well as the service.They appeared to have had some personnel changes.Previously they had waiters who would make sure that your water was always tapped up.They would come and make sure that the food had tasted good and nothing was needed or missing.These waitresses do none of that.Didn't even make sure that we had utensils.To add insult she added an automatic 20% service charge for my party of 4. I asked her why she added the service charge and it was less than 6 ppl in my party. She told me my 8 yr old was extra?The food quality poor.The serving size has become smaller.They are almost more expensive than most Chinese restaurants.Will never go back their again.Not worth it.
In my perennial search for decent( not excellent) Chinese food in Florida, I drove over an hour for carry out. I spent over $50 but got home to find the left out all the rice. Food was overly salty and not worth the drive. My search continues.
Right after Covid, their fish maw soup doesn’t have any fish maw ?? Covid hits hard.
