This place is an honest to goodness fish camp. It has a nice outdoor area to sit if you don’t mind picnic tables or the tables with high chairs. Our waitress was extremely attentive and gave us excellent service. Now for the negatives. The food was ok, nothing special. There are no prices on the menu and for lunch our three separate meals came to between 27.00 and 42.00. They don’t give real utensils and expect you to use flimsy plastic ware. They use throw away cups as well. My friend had the catch of the day, mahi mahi. The piece of fish was about 4 inches by 2 inches. Her meal was 42.00- ridiculous for lunch! The specials were high priced as well. I had a bowl of clam chowder, a side of hush puppies, and a piece of key lime pie. My meal was 27.00. While we understand that prices have to go up as costs go up, we expect at least if we are paying that much for lunch to be given real utensils and cups! We won’t be going back. It’s a shame. We love to go to locally owned businesses but we do expect if the prices are that high, the portions better be big, the food better be excellent, and there better be real utensils and glasses!
Fantastic place to grab a wonderful seafood meal. The outdoor seating was perfectly splendid. Palms also had live music on the day we had lunch.
The wait staff was fabulous. Great clam chowder. We ordered a blackened Covid sandwich . The portion of fish was half the size of the bun. If you are going serve a fish sandwich, put some fish on it. The location is great.
What a great experience the servers are knowledgeable and professional. Waterfront location with delicious food
Ciera was the best waitress I have ever experienced!!!! She was fantastic!!!! Highly recommend her!!!
On our trip we were thinking of going other places to site see. I realized we hadn't had anything to eat. We decided to try here. I Can't say enough not only was every server helpful but they accomidated us with seating due to a medical problem. Very understanding. It felt almost magical how the scenery of the beautiful sky and ocean. Then they had live music ? fun time!
Service was terrible!!! Food only so, so and expensive.
Decided to travel down to Florida and try out some new places. This was probably one of the best places for seafood and live music. There was four in our party. We waited about 15 minutes for an outdoor table. There was live music and was extremely crowded outdoors. Loved the fans, decor, music, cold drinks and food.Hubs ordered oysters on the half shell. He said they were good, foot was cut on most of the oysters. Mom had a Big Mary and got a little snack with her drink. Frozen Pina colada was so-so.Main dish we all 4 shared the Full Country Boil. It was supposed to have Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Crawfish, Shrimp, Potatoes, Andouille Sausage, and Corn on the cob. However, it was missing the Blue Crab and Corn on the Cob. It was the perfect amount for 4 adults.Server Russ R. was an awesome waiter. We never had to ask for anything he already had it at the table.Lastly the bread pudding we took home for dessert. Ohhhhh wooooooww!!! It has to be the best bread pudding I’ve ever had.
We had a filling meal of seafood while visiting Florida. This was a little harder to find, but worth the effort. My husband had a whole fish deep fat fried which was moist (but fatty). Meals came with corn and hush puppies. Lemonade was GREAT!
Wanted to get a nice meal before flying out of Jacksonville. Palms is about 25 minutes from the airport. Didn't have as much time as we would have liked, but the food was outstanding. Must-gets include the Clam Chowder, and shrimp and grits. Both were amongst the best we have had. The conch fritters were also good. A bit of a mix-up on service. We know places are understaffed & we try to be tolerant. We were seated outside and then forgotten for 20 minutes. We had to go inside to see about getting our orders taken (and they didn't seem to know we were out there even though they seated us). Their recovery was very good though, and we enjoyed the meal overall.
