The Pagoda is a nice restaurant but the Secret Tiki Temple inside of the restaurant is a Secret cool spot to go with a friend, a date or a few friends, . You must make a reservation to get in The Secret Tiki Temple side, so make sure you do a few days in advance. THE DRINKS ARE AWESOME! I REPEAT, THE DRINKS ARE AWEOME!! They have a great menu to choose from as well. The service is great and Friendly.

The Pagoda is still run by the same family after 40+ years. It is a restaurant in front and a "secret" bar in back. The private room in back is where all the 20 - 40 year old singles hang out on Baymeadows Road. Same chef in the restaurant after 40 years. He can customize anything on the menu for you. Go early if you are meeting up in the Private room. Seats and parking lot fills up fast.

The tiki lounge is a must visit. Haven't tried the resturant side of the place yet. Food is excellent, drinks are strong and the atmosphere is enchanting. Constantly recommending this place to friends and fam.

The food was disgusting and service was awful over 100.00 waisted .

The wife and I were looking for a sit down Chinese restaurant that was not a chain store. We found the Pagoda by accident on New Year’s Day and drove over. The food was wonderful and full of flavor, drinks were good as well. It’s also attached to the secret tiki lounge as well which we have reservations for at the end of the month. Highly recommend you check out the Pagoda a local family restaurant of Jacksonville since 1975 for some authentic Hong Kong food.

Epic fail. Firstly, the parking lot is very dark. There is overgrown foliage by the front door- very unwelcoming and unappealing, could be a safety concern. Secondly, upon entering the establishment you are hit with a noxious odor- as in you lose your appetite. Lastly, after waiting an hour for the food to arrive (3 items) it was cold and didn’t seem fresh. I expected more since they state the meal is fresh and is made to order. I was sent here on assignment to review the restaurant that has been a staple of Jacksonville for decades. I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. I do not recommend this at all. I would have said it was an off night but there was another patron in the waiting area who was having a bad experience as well. She was canceling her order because of a time issue.

The food was cold, the rice and the walnuts were old, fry rice tasted awful. But I have to say the duck had a good flavor. The lady very nice that is the reason I gave 2 Instead of 1 star

Soo good! Secret Tiki Lounge is awesome.

I am wondering if this establishment has changed ownership because their food is the opposite of what most of the older reviewers have noted. We had ordered the Peking Duck and General Tso chicken. The duck was not served with any sauce and was dry and flavorless. The General Tso chicken was not fresh (the chicken had a strong freezer burn flavor) and they used very bland spices. It was definitely not spicy whatsoever. We had also ordered hot and sour soup that was neither spicy nor sour in taste. It was also super bland. They also were serving carbonated beverages in a can rather than using a soda fountain like most establishments (and charging for each drink). I would warn anyone wanting to go to this place to stay clear of it unless you want to go to the Tiki Bar. I can't speak for that side of the restaurant as I ate in the main dining room.

Food tasted bland. It had no seasoning. They didn't fill my order correctly. I will not go back. I asked to have the manager call me . I never heard a word from him.
