This place is always packed, usually slow for the orders to come out and generally sub-par food cooking and presentation. This time we were pleasantly surprised though and our waitress was excellent and food took average amount of time to come out but the presentation and quality was great (which was refreshing. It should be like this all the time!). Kudos to Outback for actually living up to expectations for once. Probably the nicest "chain" restaurant on the Northside of Jacksonville

Bartender Rob and Manager Taylor are great, they always remember what I like to drink. Service is prompt, and food is good. The proprietor Harry even took time out of his day to stop by and say hello. I will be back and would recommend to my friends.
the waiter was awesome! we took my service dog and because we didn't want to disturb or make anyone else uncomfortable he was great enough to let us eat outside and he did not have to, he went above and beyond. We will definitely be going back.
My partner and I went to Outback for a nice lunch. Not only was the food great - looked good, taste good and hot. My waitress Shann D. was awesome. So polite, helpful and tentative. I couldn't ask for a better waitress than her. She makes me want to go back for more. She deserves a raise and a high five on your job well done.
Had an hour and a half wait to get seated for 8 people. Been at the restaurant since 6 and leaving at 9:30 pm. The waitress took 30 minutes to bring us drink refills and not one plate was moved from our table. No one got any condiments they asked for. We asked for a manager and when she came over she didn’t even introduce herself as the manger. We discussed our issues and when we didn’t know she was the manager she rolled her eyes walking away. We had two steaks that were cooked wrong as well. Wouldn’t recommend eating here on a week night or weekend .
Good service. Had blooming onion, mushrooms, and shrimp for apps...unfortunately they were heavy with old grease :( . The mixed vegs were still hard and room temp :( (broccoli was nicely steamed). None of the three steaks were med well :( .They were med rare and very fatty :(
Very professional and friendly staff. We requested quiet corner seating due to special needs son needing certain accommodations. They promptly provided us with a great table. The waitress was superb and catered to my son's requests promptly and efficiently. I highly recommend this location!
I always experience outstanding service here. I’m always greeted with an pleasant attitude and smile. My favorite menu item is the salmon, which is always cooked to perfection ! with a sweet potato and mixed vegetables. The staff always makes me feel welcomed and comfortable on a consistent basis.
Great food customer service was HORRIBLE. We were there 20-25 minutes before the waitress came to take the drink order. We ordered drinks, appetizers and our entrees st the same time. She brought one drink then took another 10-15 minutes to bring the other two drinks. By the time our appetizer was served it was cold. When we finally got our food I had a perfectly cooked medium well steak, however I asked for well-done. Another 10 minutes for A-1 steak sauce by that time I was over the entire experience and was ready to just leave. 10 more minutes for a to go box and our take-out order was never placed, I was not waiting another 30 minutes for that so I told the waitress to forget the take-out order since she had just put it in, we were there a little over 2 hours.
