Their food is delicious here, and the sake choices are fairly on point.I would say their service was Very slow, and we watched others get their food and drink before us when they were sat and ordered after us. While it was a nice ambiance, I don't think I need to wait 30 minutes for 2 handrolls when the restaurant was less than half full.So if you come here, make sure you're ready to spend some time (and money) here, because their food is super delicious and they had good quality fish, but you have a chance for Very slow service.
My fiancé and I went to Norikase tonight and I have nothing but amazing things to say!! the food was delicious and the ambiance is very soothing and romantic! would definitely recommend for any date night!
As an avid sushi lover, I was so excited to get a reservation at Norikase. I was a little apprehensive when we pulled up and it was in a strip mall, BUT it far surpassed its humble exterior. The interior space is stunning, and the Omakase experience was absolutely wonderful. Our chef was friendly and chatty but not intrusive. Each course was better than the next. We would love to return some day.
I'm very happy to see high end cuisine thrive in Southside that isn't another steakhouse! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. I think it's a rather brave move on their part to go with high end Japanese/eastern cuisine in this part of Jax, and I'm thrilled is doing well enough to expand into the old Bento space. We did not do the omakase experience, but I'm excited to try when an opportunity comes. On that note it is spendy, but worth it for the quality and experience.
Amazing experience! We did the 15 course meal and it was fresh and unforgettable. Everyone had amazing service and attention to detail.
Accommodating. Food is great and so are the alcoholic drinks. Meals are pricey but this is not a restaurant to fill your tummy but to satisfy your palate.
First off I hardly ever write reviews - so for me to take the time to review a place means a lot. This whole experience was AMAZING! I’m a chef that owns a restaurant as well and was totally blown away by the hospitality offered at the Norikase tasting. I brought my girlfriend for the Omakase and wasn’t too sure on what to expect - it’s a little hard to find but I thoroughly loved that it felt a little “underground”. Upon entrance the hostess let us know that the tasting ahead of us was a little behind but the offered us a bottle of champagne while we waited. They also took a Polaroid of us to take home which was really sweet. The staff was amazing - Kate our server was on point all night and so hospitable. The chefs themselves(wish I could remember their names)were seriously talented and loved talking food with me. The tasting itself got better and better with every single course. I tried a couple things that I would probably never have the chance to try if I didn’t go here and I genuinely appreciate that. To the owner/Chef/Staff you guys do any amazing job and I hope you all prosper in 2022! Thank you!
My friend offer me this magical experience. I know this might not be the best Omakase in Florida but this one is really decent. Each course is tasted better than the last one and full of surprises! Once you had this experience one time there is no going back, I don’t want to have any other sushi at all! Server and Chef are super friendly! Even though it is expensive but definitely will be back!
It’s been my third time being here and I will say, I’ve absolutely have loved my experiences here. Our chef during my omakase experience have been absolutely wonderful. Yes it might be a little pricey, but that’s just the cost of having an amazing experience with these talented chef’s. I truly can’t express how fantastic my experiences have been here.
We did the chef’s tasting at Norikase and the experience was amazing. All of the dishes were phenomenal. The drinks were great too. Definitely worth the money.
