I decided to go to Newk’s for lunch last Saturday. I have been here many times and enjoyed the food most of the time. I ordered the tomato soup with Pesto chicken sandwich on the 11 grain bread. I did not want the peppers or cheese and although I told them not to add it my sandwich it still came with cheese. I returned it and got a new one without. The soup was good but it was a little salty. The sandwich was extremely salty and not enjoyable at all! I was unable to finish it and was not happy with it. I have notice that there use a lot of salt in all their food with the exception of the salads if ordered plain and you add olive oil and red wine vinegar. Not sure if I would be going back here which is upsetting.
The manager that was working on April 6th at 4 pm Melissa does not have management, people, kindness skills...I ordered a salad my steak was pink the nice Cashier Cheyenne asked her if I could get my salad fixed Melissa hollers out the kitchen I can't not do that she will have to buy another one well she never came out the kitchen to ask how she could fix I wanted to get chicken instead and ok I will pay well my chicken was dry and old!!!! Melissa comes out ask for receipt when the CASHIER told her I just purchased that chicken and she forgot to give me my receipt...Cheyenne the Cashier needs to be the manager Melissa is rude, she makes your food look like slop!!! I had just got off work and wanted a nice salad and my whole experience was horrible...Do NOT allow MELISSA to cook your food at all...She does not care about presentation!!!
Normally this is an excellent meal and we will continue to order from them. But the chicken salad sandwich bread was so hard you could not eat it. Hate to say that but... Hopefully it was a one time deal.
The loaded potato soup was delicious, service was friendly, the “Q” sandwich was a little dry though.
Never heard of Newk’s before visiting Florida. I sure was missing a lot! Food is great and they have a wide selection to satisfy your cravings and not eat the same thing over and over again. Staff was friendly and dining area was clean and organized. I’ve been here a few times and the food has been consistent — will definitely visit again!
Had the Shrimp Po'boy and pasta salad. The sandwich was good but a little flat in flavor. The pasta salad was very tiny, but the flavor was good and left me wishing I had more. Service here is good.

The Cesar salad with salmon is so delicious! Friendly staff and this location was very clean! We will definitely be going back!
Probably our favorite sandwich shop in our area. The Newks Club is amazing coupled with a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. The beverage syrup to carbonation is spot on.
Newk's is one of my favorites. Love the veggie pizza. Would have given 5 stars but the system was down for reward points and I treated for 4 people. Disappointed.
