Monroe's has delicious BBQ. Their ribs are some of the best I've had and are reasonably priced. Fridays they have a special, smoked meatloaf. It's so good. Over time we have gotten to know server Theresa and she is so nice and friendly. She's part of the reason we keep going back.
Using my son’s account but me and my husband went here and it was the best bbq we have has in a while. Everything was so good.
This was the first time going here. Loved the burnt ends. The sides could use a little work but that might just be me. The banana pudding had no banana taste but not lying, it was still yummy. The corn souffle was good but I'm willing to give them a recipe that will knock your socks off. And the collards were delicious ?
The collard greens were very salty (I am a southern gal who truly likes collard greens). Hubby was not a fan of the smoked bacon cheeseburger. Oldest son said the sweet BBQ sauce was good, but sonny's sweet taste better. I did like the brisket it was not dry like sonny's tends to be. I will be returning to try the meatloaf that usely served on Fridays.
The ribs are some of the largest and best ribs around. No matter how much you think you can eat, start with the half rack. The banana pudding is a must as well. No matter what you get here, you won't be disappointed. On top of that, the staff is phenomenal. They deserve just as much praise as the food.
Been going here for years. Good people, good food. Tori and all the waitresses are nice and provide great service.My only recommendation is that it would be nice if they changed the salad lettuce to kale or spring mix or something more leafy. But overall great place
Delicious!I got the pulled pork dinner with fries, baked beans, and coleslaw. It was all so good! Coleslaw was perfect amount of wet and sweet, baked beans were sweet and tasty, and the pulled pork was amazing!I would recommend coming here for a good lunch meal or even dinner!
The food was great here! The service even better! The waitress was very a tentative and kind. Serving is a loss art but our waitress is one of the best waitresses I had ever dealt with. It makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable and I look forward to coming back. Hard to find great waitresses like this. Thank you so much for the great experience Debbie?
Yeah Buddy! BBQ Meatloaf with collard greens and Mac N cheese (and buttered brioche). ????? Everything was really good. Hit the meatloaf with the sweet and spicy sauce. M?K Greens.... So good. Mac, very tasty without overly salted.Thick o ❄️? greeted me at the door, escorted to the bar to order. The menu is mad simple but I had to request the meatloaf (Friday special). Brotha in the kitchen ✔️, sipn ?. Sista at the bar confirmed the food ✔️. Def a nice date spot but I think they close a 8pm. Service was energetic, entertaining, and knowledgeable.
Fantastic service as always! My niece had her bridal shower this past weekend and last minute I called Monroes and asked then to cater 10 slabs of ribs. No waiting, no issues... asked me what time did I want to pick up. The cost was reasonable and The service was friendly! The ribs were fall off of the bone delicious!! 10/10 would recommend!
