Best BBQ in Jacksonville. Love the smokehouse chicken platter with the baked beans. The corn nuggets are to die for, and the fried okra is amazing. The service is wonderful and everyone is super friendly.

Grabbed lunch here on my way out of town. Super friendly staff and great food! Pulled Pork was fantastic. Mac & cheese was alright, nothing too special saddly. Still would go back though.
Monroe's used to be a great BBQ joint. I used to go all the time, but the last few times were just plain bad. Green beans were mushy, fries undercooked, chicken is bland. They didn't ask white or dark so they gave me dark and I don't like the thighs. Lady at front counter seemed disorganized. Only plus is it came out very fast.
Terrible experience, food was overpriced, portions was too small for the price. Only one cup of BBQ sauce in the bag and it’s half full, never again and will not recommend

My food was so good. I had a pull pork sandwich with sweet potato mash and the sweet tea was perfect!!! Please keep the sweet tea perfect! The young lady that took my order was so nice and sweet!
