Hats off to the chef for creating a delicious chicken pot pie! After I took my first bite, I immediately wanted to order a second chicken pot pie. I also enjoyed the peach pie.The location is basically a takeout window with a board that provides the day’s menu options. The person assisting was very courteous and professional. I look forward to visiting Mixed Fillings Pie Shop in the future!
I’m not one to write reviews, but this one is warranted. Mixed Fillings is without a doubt, the best bake shop in Jacksonville. I’m not even a pie person, but these are not your average pies. Sure, you can get a slice of apple pie here, but it is anything but basic. And while the apple pie is the best I’ve ever had, my favorites are their more decadent cream pies (Beach don’t kill my vibe, Wake me up before you cocoa, and Peanut butter and jealous, just to name a few!) I’m constantly impressed every time I come here. You can really tell how much talent the owner/baker has and how much pride she takes in her work. These pies are beautiful and delicious, and this is definitely the type of place that has you wanting to come back for more!
Truly incredible! These astonishingly tasty pies inspired me to write my first ever Google review. Pie isn’t typically my go-to treat, but this is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had (even beating out desserts from Michelin star restaurants).
Hands down the best pies in my life. I grew up in the area and return every few months and the time in between drags on and on without Mixed Fillings in my life.Today, I tried their newest creation, 99 Problems but Nutella Ain’t One. Added in a Beach Don’t Kill My Vibe(delectable Coconut Cream) and a Black Bottom Key Lime(new to me Key Lime with and I am in heaven. The crusts on these bad boys are so creative and tasty! The fillings are phenomenal, I’m just in awe. Other personal favorites are We the People, Peanut Butter & Jealous, and then… wait for it… The Sky is Falling, a chicken pot pie so delicious I will take leftovers on planes, trains, and automobiles to enjoy over again. The crust truly makes this pot pie a Jacksonville treasure, perfectly buttery and flaky. I’m obsessed.I’m gonna keep coming back, so y’all better be around for a while.
Mixed Fillings is hands down the best pie shop in Jax. Everything from the secret walkway to the cute little door to order from. Plus there's a huge umbrella for you to stand under to help protect from that 96 degree Florida weather...or the rain cause...Florida ? ANYWAYS! All the employees here are AMAZING. They always are so nice. Pictured here is the Apple of My Eye Piescream. Ice cream and PIE! Perfect combo for the summer.
I did not like the pie. Okay, there I said it. This is a hipster twist on an old time dessert, okay I get it. But I did not like it. What I did like was the secret feeling entrance is the back and the staff was super nice but the actual pie, nope. The crust was like a giant flake, it tasted good. I was not a fan of the filling. If they were apart, maybe they could work. Together, no.
Ive been wanting to try this place for months! Its a little hard to spot from the street, but its just behind the makeup studio on the back side of the building. We walked thru this quaint little side patio garden full of beautiful vines and seating area. The shop had the cutest little split door with a old fashion dinner bell to ring for service. We were greeted by a super sweet girl who showed us the menu options and packed up our slices. Everything is ready to go and packaged, no waiting necessary. Y'all. When I tell you these pies are heavenly... I mean, you might hear angels singing when you take a bite. The coconut cream was my absolute favorite of the flavors we tried. So deliciously creamy and coconutty. And I should also add I love pie inspite of the crust, but this crust was divine. Soft. Flakey and slightly chewy. Omg. The apple crumble pie was like grandmas comfort food in the form of pie. Sweet and tart, crumbly and amazing. Then we had the chocolate lava pie - attention all chocolate lovers, you've met your match. Its like a decadant brownie pie. Only its better than any brownie you've ever had. Fudgey chocolate, with notes of espresso and the salty crunch of the incredible pretzle esq crust. I died and went to chocolate heaven. Lastly we got the key lime pie specifically for my mom and husband who love key lime pie. Sooooo creamy and not overly tart. A+ all around. Y'all better check this local gem before I go buy out the rest of their inventory!

Oh my!! This fun, quirky speakeasy pie shop is phenomenal! You go to the back of the building, ring the bell and the half door opens to place your order. You can get 6 slices for $38. My personal favorite was the Wake Me Up Before You Cocoa. It was similar to a brownie bake with a pretzel crust.. heavenly! Every single slice I tried was so good. I will be back and know it will be a personal favorite in Jax.
I loved the Keylime pie as well as the Three Sister mixed berry pie. The crusts were amazing and the fillings were not too sweet. loved not having that preservative taste (fresh). I have a slice of apple waiting for me later ?
