Expectations were low but we did enjoy our meal there. Service was very good , food was good and customized which was appreciated. It’s a bar.. cold beer was great! I knocked a star off because the floors were crazy sticky.. like had a hard time in spots lifting my shoe.. that was gross….
Nina was our server, she was nice. We had a great meal and a good time. My husband and I Almost didn't go to this restaurant because of some Of the reviews. Glad we went here anyways our meal was delicious!
Nice atmosphere. Small selection of craft beer but overall is good. One cons is no outside sitting area.
06/06 update - Here today ordered the pitcher of White Sangria (had this lots of times before) today the flavor was off. Definitely not good mixed drinks here. We were here waiting while the bar tender was on her phone. I get it's slow but I said I wanted an appetizer. We ordered the ribs and split them. The ribs we're delicious. Just was not a fan of the service from the bar. Bartender was just not attentive. Very slow while trying to cash out. I normally love this place. Not today. The only reason it's 3 stars was the food was good.(During covid time) Limited menu but the food was good & fast
Service With Sarah in the outside bar area was top shelf. We enjoyed the Food & Beverages, as well as the atmosphere. ??
I came around 8pm. It wasn’t busy or anything. Sat at the Bar and ordered a Top Shelf Margarita and some food Togo. Upon receiving my Too Shelf margarita, I noticed it taste like crap. I ask for shot of Grand Mariner to go with it to make it tolerable. The bartender says sorry she doesn’t know what a top shelf is and proceeded to pour a little more than a shot and I had to tell her that was enough. So I blew that off bc she was a very nice lady doing her best. But I received my Togo order and it was wrong and that is what broke the straw on the camels back. Needless to say, This place is not for me.
Great cocktails and even better calamari rings! I suggest the house sauce instead of the sweet chili sauce. Servers were friendly and accommodating. I do not suggest the French onion soup as it's just not good or the pretzel as it tastes burnt. I liked just about everything else.
I enjoy eating casually at Miller's Ale House but this specific location was NOT IT.For starters, the parking and layout of the building is atrocious. The real reason I'm giving 1 star, though, is the food. I've never gotten such a bad burger from any Ale House before.I ordered the Black and Blue Burger cooked "as rare as you can make it" and I received the thinnest patty they could give me cooked well done and honestly it was terrible. Super dry and completely unappetizing. There's plenty of other Ale House locations... Go to a different one.
the experience was great and the food was absolutely delicious!!will definitely have it again
Been to many of these Ale House locations over the years. This one is next to the Avenues Mall in Jax. Sat at the bar. Servers were Jamie and Zack. Quick and friendly. Large beer selection including craft offerings. Had a bacon cheeseburger which was one of the best I've ever had. Great overall experience.
