Miller's used to be one of the standard local "go to" restaurants. However, after a few repeated bad experiences, I felt compelled to warn others. Not only has their menu been drastically scaled back with a number of favorites no longer available, their portion sizes significantly reduced (as has occurred elsewhere), the quality of their product has significantly declined. We received burnt soup, stale chips on the nacho plate and salads with missing ingredients. Additionally, they are extremely overpriced for what you receive. As we are all looking for ways to conserve and save financially, I highly recommend you cross this restaurant off your list.
Actually across the street from our hotel. Walked in friendly greeting, TVs everywhere! Great Sports bar. Menu diverse. Waitress one of the best we have ever had. She asked all the right questions, prompt courteous with her kind replies.Anticipated refills on drinks brought non alcoholic ones before we could ask. Gave us to go cups too.If we lived there it would be a frequent place for us!!!
Good food and plenty of it nobody finished
I've been here before, and the service was good. I was brought here on a date Saturday night, and the hostess seemed confused. Unprofessional, if I'm being nice. My friend and I sat at the table so long that we memorized the pages and items on the menu. We were excited to eat here and ready to leave a nice tip for our server. No greeting from the server, no drinks, no service. Won't be coming here again.
Service was good and food was as well. The menu is quite extensive. Maybe they try to do too many thing good and not a few things great.
The parking lot was packed but we had no wait to get seated. The staff was friendly and food delicious.. I ordered the Prime Burger and son ordered the mountain melt on both were delicious!
Ribs, wings, and spinach artichoke dip were great. The server on other hand not so good. The interaction with other staff was so positive I decided not to deduct for servers shortcomings. Will definitely return.
It was a special occasion and we celebrated at Miller's. Such a great place to go for reliable quality of food and service. Matt out waiter was wonderful with recommendations and a full understanding of the bar and restaurant menu. Thank you for making out dinner great
Was in Jacksonville for a few days and found this place while going to Walmart. Anytime there is Ale House as part of the name, I check it out.Lots of beers on tap, but mostly IPA's.I am ALE fan, not so much on IPA's.Of course, I found an ALE I liked.Now for the food. Lots of choices on the menu, and from talking to patrons at the bar, they said all was good.From salads, sandwiches, pastas, and seafood and steaks, all had good reviews. I decided on trying the crusted parmesan chicken pasta dish.It was excellent, pic shown is half gone. Big serving with good price value. Beers might add to the cost!
I've always loved Alehouse. Food is on point, served quickly, and the atmosphere is just right. Whether for sports, a friendly gathering, or just a spontaneous dinner on a random weeknight - never disappointed.
