great food and great service. Met the owner and she takes special pride in meeting all her guests. 100% will be coming back SOON!

Our experience for dinner was great! We did the the mesa tasting and enjoyed every bite of it! We cannot wait to dine in again. We appreciated that the chef and owner came to our table and shared her story of how and why she started her restaurant. It was an inspiration. I highly recommend a visit. All the best of luck and many blessings

Hubby and I came here for our two year wedding anniversary in February. We did the tasting menu and everything was spectacular! When we heard that they were now serving brunch we knew we had to check it out. Once again, everything was delicious! The owner/chef came to our table and was so personable. The servers we had both times we very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We live in Mandarin and drive out here for the wonderful food and lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to brunch again this morning and bringing family with us!

Mesa is a restaurant that anyone interested in food and open to varying cuisines that may or may not be familiar to them should check out. I’ve tried Indian cuisine a small handful of times and most of those times I would just order chicken tikka masala or something “safe” that I knew. I’m always open to trying new dishes and restaurants and had heard great things about Mesa, and the first time I went was for my wedding anniversary with my wife.We brought a bottle of wine and for a corkage fee were able to drink our wine. We tried the tasting menu and most of the pictures included were from that tasting menu from February 2022. Every dish served was better than the last. The lamb chops for the upcharge was 100% worth it. Every person working there is so pleasant cheerful patient and great at explaining the menu and comparing things you don’t know or have heard of to something familiar so you can feel more comfortable and informed when ordering food.We went for Sunday brunch a couple weeks ago and then brought my parents today. Each visit is just the most pleasant enjoyable relaxing home-y experience. The owner has greeted us both brunches and between her and the other employees you feel like you’re in a home eating amazing food made from scratch in the kitchen. The food is inspired by a southern state in India but is not 100% authentic but rather has twists and interpretations of classical dishes so don’t expect dishes grandmas would made. The full Indian breakfast is amazing and the lamb bacon is the best bacon I’ve ever had. Mesa is a drive from home and takes almost half an hour but is unquestionably worth the drive. If you’re looking for a unique restaurant and dishes you literally won’t find anywhere else, you owe it to yourself to come check out Mesa for dinner or brunch. You won’t regret it.

5 stars, amazing food, staff, and the owner is an absolute delight and John Carlisle in the kitchen working his magic as always. I highly recommend the food and the Rose semifreddo for dessert is an absolute must.

Amazing date night meal! Friendly staff . Delicious food

An upscale Indian restaurant. Very nice decor and great friendly staff! The food is amazing. It’s not your typical Indian restaurant. Food is tasty and flavorful. Not over the top spicy. The small plates are the highlight of the menu!! The deserts are fresh and refreshing also!!

We went here on a Friday night with all the excitement that this Indian meal in Jacksonville was going to be not only better than what we have had before, but one to remember and put on our 'must have' list. I am sad to say this was far from what we had expected unfortunately. The food was very tasty, though the portions for the tasting menu and the time we spent there was small and long. The five course tasting menu took us two hours and we were left hungry unfortunately. The salad was fantastic, The samosas tasty but portions were less than fair sadly. I decided to get the lamb chops, which were an upcharge, and my partner had the the chicken entreé. Both portions happened to be a little light and we were finished with a rose and white chocolate semi fredo? Tha was melted by the time it got to our table.. my partner loved it though. The food and ambiance was great, the portions and time seemed longing for and a century to eat.

This is mine and my friend's first time here. We decided to try the 5 course tasting menu to see what they offer. It was a great decision. The courses were tasty, the outdoor patio had a great ambiance, the service was well timed and pleasant. It was delicious but relaxing. Enjoyable experience overall.

This was our second time here. We have always had great service here, and have never been disappointed with any dish. I have to say the papaya salad is our all-time favorite. Everything is packed with flavor and love.
