Great place to grab a bite to eat and relax. The atmosphere is laid back and the food is great. On our visit we had Pretzel Bites as an appetizer and split a large pizza as "Funky Q" & "Pacific Rim"-BBQ & Hawaiian. Both the appetizer and pizza were great with lots of flavor and offer a little different toppings than typical BBQ and Hawaiian. The food was not the typical run pizza, it had a definite signature taste for the reputation that proceeds the restaurant. This location offers a roomy outdoor seating area that offers accessibility to the bar, and this location appeared clean and well maintained with nothing in disrepair. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. This location is located in part of a plaza so parking could be a challenge during busier times, but easy to navigate in and out of. Prices are fair and affordable for the food and experience. Definitely will be headed back for seconds as we had a great experience.
Late night date nightI appreciate the few restaurants that are open late for those of us with unusual schedules.We shared the Spinach and artichoke dip with garlic buttered toast points. It's my #1 favorite! It was my man's first time eating this dip and he loved it.His: PACIFIC RIM - medium(Minus the red sauce base) with mozzarella, ham, bacon, caramelized onions, pineapple, and jalapeños.Mine: ½ Holy Shiitake + ½ Thai Dye (sub chicken for curry tofu). Medium I asked for Spinach as an additional topping on my pizza. The waitress admitted she forgot to add it to the order and I asked for a small. Oh well!
My server was excellent. Pizza was mediocre at best and the wings were terrible.
We went on a Saturday night, even though they were crowded, they moved well. The staff was efficient and pleasant. The pizza was tasty, however, I ordered meatballs and mushroom... their meatballs looked more like ground beef... and a little on there dry side.I enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere...worth going back... maybe not getting the meatballs next time.Their cheese steak sub looked wonderful... think the young couple eating theirs wouldn't appreciate if I asked for a bite to try it!?
My family and I showed up to have dinner. There was 13 in our group. The woman informed us it would be about 5 minutes to get our tables together and sorry they were a little short staffed. We were sitting within the 5 minutes. Our server was Dexter. For a place that was a little short staffed, our service and meal were outstanding. Dexter was a very personable man. We felt like we were talking with a friend. We really enjoyed this place.

Every time I order something here, the order either is missing multiple items or randomly gets canceled with no reason given.Most recently it was a couple pizzas, caesar salad, cookie, side esparanza sauce. Half the order showed up on a $100 tab. On following up on the missing items, responsibility was denied by this Mellow. I hadn't ordered from here in years due to having similar issues previously. On my most recent attempts, order #1 was canceled (because we called to add a side of balsamic dressing) and order #2 showed up missing items.Beach location does not mess up and deny responsibility like this one does, so it seems to be an issue with management. It's unfortunate, because the young lady answering phones here was very polite and wanted to help. Management? Not so much. If I'm paying this much for food, I just want what I paid for.Mellow makes some delicious pizza, but I would not recommend getting yours from this location.
The atmosphere was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely a great place to go during the spring/summer. Customer service was great! The prices were decent for the amount of food that you received. The quality of food was good and the prices were pretty reasonable. Also the alcoholic drinks were not worth it down.
Very refreshing to find a pizza spot out of the ordinary here in Jacksonville. The pizza dough is unique and delicious just because of that makes this places a must visit. Attention felt great, fair prices and amazing vibe about the place. Great selection of local beer, ordering your pizza half of one type and half of another is possible plus the good service makes the experience worthwhile and make you want to come back to keep trying different pies and beers. Keep up the good work!
We ordered togo. We had the cloud 9 wings, steak sub and steak calzone. We were not impressed. The cloud 9 wings looked so good but missed on so many levels of flavor. We didn't like most of it because it tasted pretty bland. No issues picking up our order other than a few visibly 'high' and loud young ladies in the bathroom, lol. The ingredients did seem fresh and the order was accurate. We will give the pizza a shot another day as we've never had their pizza and update review.
