I love to try new places to eat and enjoy a new atmosphere. And this place does not disappoint. I absolutely loved all of their food it was super yummy and the best part was the margaritas, The margaritas are so so delicious. The best part is the flavor but I have to say you can taste the alcohol but it's not overwhelming like a lot of Mexican based restaurants . Me and my family went to Margaritas Mexican restaurant for the first time on Cinco de Mayo and I love all of the festive decor and the staff was really nice and the atmosphere was just right. So if you get a chance I highly recommend this restaurant on San Jose boulevard in Jacksonville Florida.
Last Friday, as we often do, we picked up take-out for dinner. Always in the past, Margarita's has been fairly reliable. We ordered a #2 combo, and then just 2 tacos.Our opinion was unanimous! The most tasteless Mexican food we have ever had. No flavor! How can you get a taco shell to be both chewy AND tasteless. Not just ONE item, but EVERYTHING!There are Mexican restaurants within throwing distance of this place in Mandarin. You can bet that one of them will be getting our business in the future.
Now this is a nice place for you and your girl and maybe the kids if you're doing that. Recommend tequila shots.Quality- great, you'll be full if that's what you're asking.Price- 15 err so to get full.Performance- excellent. Very impressed by the waitress we had, she was fast, easy to talk to, and on point.Speed- maybe ten to fifteen minutes for you your girl and a kid. It's good.Final verdict- a thing of tortilla chips with three bowls of Caso.Certainly a must for anyone looking to serve there Caso addiction.
It’s been a while I had Mexican food.Cinco de Mayo 22’ around 8 pm. I was expecting a large crowd and long wait for takeout. Large crowd yes, long wait no. Plus they offered me a free tequila shot at the bar. That was great.The food was very good and plenty. We had a steak fajita and a combo platter with a burrito a taco and a stuffed Mexican pepper.Food came well packed and chips and spicy salsa were included on a separate bag and salsa container.For $29 our family of 3 had enough to eat.I just wish I ordered extra tortillas for the steak fajitas.Will return for sure.
Salsa was watery. Queso could use a bit more heat. Fajitas were not bad... Just not a ton of flavor. I also had to order shredded cheese and sour cream on the side for the fajitas. I was never given tortillas or a plate. I sat there eating it off the skillet itself with many employees checking on us and never seeing an issue. Lack of flavor is my biggest issue though. Also, it took forever to order, to get chips, to get our food, to get our check, etc. Not the worse Mexican restaurant I've been to ... But not the best.Underwhelming but extremely average.Went 04/01/2022 with hubby.
Unbelievably bad service. Staff inexperienced and poorly trained. Service was extremely slow. One of three main entrees came out, followed by the others more than 30 minutes later. Food quality and flavor was mediocre at best. Watery sauces, watery cheese dip, runny watery refried beans. In my opinion, you should go somewhere else if you want Mexican. There are so many other better options in the area. Quite possibly the worst restaurant I've ever had the misfortune to try in the Jacksonville area.
Great lunch and happy hour specials. The food was excellent. Margaritas weren't too sweet and you could actually taste the tequila. This is our new Mexican joint for sure!
Good service and my expectations for the meal were met. A comfortable local Mexican restaurant with many favorite dishes on the menu. Chimichangas are choice - crunchy and delicious.
This place is amazing! The customer service! The food! I ordered online and I went to pick up my order and they didn’t have it. Which I was very upset about and show them the receipt in my email but on the credit card it said “Bill Miller’s BBQ” (a place in texas, I don’t knowing that’s who the credit card machine was through or what). For whatever reason the online ordering service wasn’t linking to their store. Anyways, the man took care of it in less than probably 7 minutes. The food was delicious! We will be back!
I've been going for around four years, overall my favorite local Mexican restaurant. Food is consistently good, prices reasonable and a great staff.
