Service was very good. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. I would definitely eat here again! Not pictured are the yucca fries with cilantro sauce or the tres leches cake (which we took home).
We ordered the Mambo Steak Sandwich and the Grilled Veggie Wrap with rice and black beans. Yum, yum ... so tasty!!! Luis was our waiter, a very gracious gentleman with excellent customer service skills, lots of attention to details plus made us a delicious cafe con leche!. Luis made us feel very welcomed! Will definitely be back. Nice added moment: taking a photo with the owner who was very pleasant as well.

Great service and Authentic cuisine
We have been fans of Mambos for over 10 years. And now they have one more branch. What's not to like!The restaurant is very clean.We ordered our favorites Sangcocho soup, lechon asado and the Mambos sampler which is always a winner. We were not disappointed. Always good food, excellent service and fair prices.We will be back!
Tried Mambos Cuban Express - Mandarin for the first time today. I would give it a solid 8/10 (based on my palate/taste) Empanadas was good I recommend the beef and potato one or the guava and cheese. The scampi style shrimp with the rice beans and plantains we also good. But that Arroz Con Pollo was my favorite it was a lot of food and the flavors were subtle but tasty. Oh and that fresher juiced watermelon juice was so refreshing in this Florida heat.
One of our favorite Cuban places in Jax! The service is always friendly and every waiter we have met also speaks Spanish which is nice. Personally I love the steak sandwich with a side of Maduros. The atmosphere is always bright and cheerful and the place clean. I would recommend if you have a hankering for Cuban food. As soon as we found this place, we have become regular customers.

Let's talk about what went right!* This location is clean* Staff is friendly* Cafe con Leche is really good.* Black Beans are good.Now to the disappointment- for $15, and from a Latino restaurant. I expect a lot more food. My order was Pollo Asado. I was given white rice (crunchy); it tasted like it was old rice, beans and maduros. Most Latin restaurants will give you a lot of food- it's not unusual to get a lot of food. But to get 1 quarter leg !!!! HECK NAH! I took this to go but I should've looked in the bag before I left. You can buy 4 quarter legs in Publix for $7.02. It's a rip off and it was average tasting. Very disappointing!I've been to a lot of Cuban restaurants! This spot is not necessarily doing it justice. My wife and son order- rice and beans and steak- they said it looked like a kid's meal. $15 each!!!???Only reason I would come back is for the coffee- but it's not worth it. You can get more at Chipotle for less money! Or You can get more for your dollar at Latin Creations or Empanada Latin Factory.
The food was really good!! And the customer service was amazing, the guy made sure we got what we wanted and was very nice and patience with us. Our food came out very quickly, which I was super pleased with.
