This was an awesome experience I recommend this place. We are all the way from Augusta Georgia. All food was made from scratch. The top chief came to check on us. It was top of the line and not so expensive. Food is to die for well worth the money
Great experience all around. We were so happy to see they still offer the $5 take home pasta which is such a great deal considering the price of restaurant meals escalating everywhere. The pasta dishes we had were really delicious and the service by Gianni was excellent. We can’t say enough about how Gianni provided service over and above what was expected.
Excellent experience. Wonderful food, great service. The bread alone is worth it! Pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken Marsala tasted like French onion soup. The chicken piccata was perfect! Light breading, delicious lemon sauce. Lasagna was thick and full of flavor. Desserts were great. Everything was served hot. Salad was cold and fresh. We weren’t charged for the non alcoholic drinks at the bar, that was awesome. We will be back!
Had 5:15 dinner reservations. Was seated on time. Ordered a large bottle of Pelegríno and a cup of ice. Waiter brought us 2 small bottles and a cup of ice with lipstick on the glass. I guess dishwashing is optional. Ordered an appetizer and a salad to share. Came with the wrong dressing . I guess it’s random what dressing you get, but we ate it. Ordered 2 entrees of shrimp fra diavalo. Was served 5 minutes after appetizer and salad. Should’ve just brought over a trough to the table. Called the manager over. All was served within 20 minutes. Manager took off an entree and the salad but made excuses for the kitchen. Horrible experience . Save your money and find an Italian place with better customer service. Don’t eat here!
Absolutely loved Maggiano's. The vibe is really elegant, classy, and homey somehow. Portions were excellent. I wasn't too excited about the bread, but everything else was absolutely delicious. Definitely will go again.
We went to Maggiano's for a family birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. We had amazing service and the food was delicious! Most of our party ordered pasta dishes and they were all delicious. Salmon with Spinach hit the spot for me ! They have a family style dinner that would be great for large parties.
Ok ok this was my first time there. It was nothing short of amazing! My mothers in love bday dinner Just look at the pics they do no justice. I luv it we will be back soon
My husband and I visited here and had a great time. The food was great, and the staff was very friendly. We will certainly be returning when in the area.
My spouse and I were traveling home from the coast and opted for lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. We previously lived near Richmond, Virginia and always made it a point to visit Maggiano's. Consequently, we were very excited to see this Maggiano's in Jacksonville, Florida. We arrived about noon and the restaurant had very few patrons. The Host was going to seat us in the bar area, but we asked to be seated in the main dining room because we have experienced slow service in the bar area in the past. My spouse ordered the dinner portion Chopped Salad and I got the Lasagna. The Chopped Salad was good but not great. A salad should be great for $16.50. My small square of Lasagna was served on a plate with no garnish to enhance the presentation, no extra sauce underneath or around it. It was a very poor presentation for $18.50. In addition to these dishes we had 2 Ice Teas and the bill came to $45.68. I understand inflation and food costs, but you must give the customer value or they will not return. I am in the will not return category. The serving temperatures and delivery of the food was good. To make matters worse the underside of my table was dirty and left a black mark on my clothing.
First time at Maggianos and it was a great experience. We made reservations and I'm glad we did because it was sort of a full house. The fried zucchini was tender and the sauce complimented it well. The mussels withe red sauce was a hit. The mussels wasn't chewy like clams, the sauce wasn't as spicy and the bread was on point with the dish. The dinner we had was just as great except the mushrooms which I felt should have been sliced but I could have specified that in my order. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks were impeccable. The bathrooms was clean and the scenery was pleasant.
