OMG!!! So a friend and I dined in at Longhorn last night and let me tell you guys about it! So firstly our server’s name was Angela. Angela was super busy but that did not stop her at all from acknowledging our table and reassuring us that she would be on her way to us soon. As promised she was! She has a beautiful smile, personality, spirit, and a comforting southern accent. She was amazing. I ordered the Flo’s filet with the lobster tail, macaroni and cheese, and a sweet potato. I didn’t initially take a picture when my food came out because it looked so good I was ready to get it inside of me. Mid meal I had to stop and take a picture because I knew I was leaving a review. I almost got up and walked to the kitchen to figure out all parties responsible for the nourishment I was receiving because they cooked my food with seasoning and love. Like I need to know who was on the sides and the meats my food was soooooo goood. I feel like another restaurant could and would never be able to give me the experience I had last night. From being seated quickly, cleanliness, customer service, food, and overall atmosphere I have to give last night a 10/10 and a highly recommend. I would also like to point out the owner was in the building last night as well and I always say a team is as strong as their leader. I saw this man in the kitchen, at tables, at the door, everywhere. A true leader. I’m super happy that we decided to eat Longhorn and as you can tell from my photos my belly is too! They steak was perfectly cooked, lobster tail was good and juicy, sweet potato seasoned with a hint of Heaven, and that macaroni and cheese was macaroni-ing ok. I’m super pleased with my experience!
Really great food and service. We were seated right away. We got the br adI ordered the 6 oz Flo's Filet, medium rare, with a side of shrimp, mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a loaded baked potato. I had strawberry lemonade and a shot of Fireball and Dr. Pepper. My daughter had the kids chicken tenders with oranges. She drank Apple juice. My friend had the chopped steak with the Mac n cheese and fries. He ordered the house ale to drink. My shrimp came on rice pilaf, which was also good. Our server was really nice and had great customer service skills. The only thing here that was messy was the restroom. There were just paper towels everywhere. I'd definitely come back here though.
The waitress might have been new, she didn't know what was in the specialty drink ( which there were only 3 a type of margaritas). She hardly came to the table, she forgot some of the things we ask for. The service was slow. The salad dressing was very salty. But, the shrimp appetizer, the steak was great, the bake potato was old. The steak made up for everything. I went with my Sister and nephew and my Sister had the chicken fingers and my nephew had the chicken and both said was great except old baked potatoes. We enjoyed each other's company so all in all we had a good time. I was surprised at the service and food because usually it's where I pick to get steaks. I usually go to a different one so, maybe that's was the problem. I would still go back, I know right now it's hard to get employees.
Food was good, when we finally got it, however, it took over 1.5 hours to enjoy it. This is the second and last time we've had to wait over 1 hour since ordering, from this location. Not going back, even with them giving a free appetizer card for the next visit. How about taking off 50% of the $60 meal. Will go to the other Longhorns that's 15 minutes more of a drive next time.
Our church small group went at lunch time for a birthday celebration. Your wait staff Lisa took good care of our table. The food was excellent. We started with the chicken wings & stuffed mushrooms. I had the grilled rock shrimp, sweet potatoes & rice. Our meals were delicious & we enjoyed your restaurant.
Let's start with the pros, the restaurant was clean, the sweet tea & sides was good. Now for the cons, my server forgot about me several times, my steak was over cooked & received my salad right around dessert time. I would try them again because it wasn't too terrible & every restaurant seems to be short staffed.
I took my daughter to lunch because she's pregnant and has had a hard time keeping things down. The server we had was named Romaine. I probably got the best service I've ever had. He was on top of everything so I recommend asking for his section if you go. My daughter ordered the fish which I thought might be a little small in size but I'm starting to think that every restaurant is trying to minimize plating because of the economy and covid. My steak was cooked perfectly but you only get to pick one side item. That's probably just the way their lunch menu runs. In closing my main recommendation is to definitely ask for Romaine.
The meal was great and the serverWas wonderful . Even she had alot of tables she did her thing. You have to try the Sangria peach yummy drink.
We are currently regulars at this location, we’ve never had a bad experience however this evening we decided to order our regular and our steaks were over cooked and a side dish was also forgotten.I called the location (and the wait time is like trying to call into a radio station to win your favorite artist tickets)Once we were connected to a manager we were in the parking lot.I will say Derrick was quick with having our steaks remade to perfection and even added a little something extra that was completely unexpected but amazing and I was taken back on how some people do actually go out of their way to make you happy and I wanted to say thank you and will continue as a regular as well as recommended as many others who would enjoy a great meal (accidents happen, we are All human) with people who care about what you care about .
First and foremost I want to say Valentine’s Day at any restaurant is a nightmare for staff. Rude customers and people who can’t be understanding that they’ll be wait times. We had a party of 9 and waited happily for 45 mins. We expected a wait. We also was greeted immediately by the manger as we were put on the wait list. That doesn’t normally happen. That man was working his butt off with a happy smile on his face. In the Mix of it all, a lady passed out and fell to the floor which the whole restaurant freaked out. He still kept it together with a smile on his face. He kept the whole restaurant together while calling rescue. This man loves his job and showed that last night. I’m never go to another longhorn as long as he’s the manger there. Our food took a little bit to come out but it was a busy day and understandable. Our server Morgan was amazing. She had parties after parties and was running her butt off. You know she was overwhelmed but she did it. Our food was correct and our cups stayed full. I like to give credit when due and this restaurant for what they had last night did amazing and we are highly satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you longhorn Regency/arlington expressway?
