I was not expecting much based on the strip mall location and sparse decorations. But the food is amazing. The barbecued rib and chicken is surprisingly tender and the marinade they use sends the taste buds soaring. Definitely going to make this a regular stop for workday lunches. Quick, simple and tasty.
Today I had the chance to go try this place for myself. Let me say, it brought me back to when I lived in Hawaii. The vybe was great and the food amazing! I went for the Loco Mocco because that was one of my favorite plates in Hawaii. LEGIT!!!!! If you haven’t gone yet, do it!
Had the famous Loco Moco for the first time here and it was the most disgustingly amazing thing I've had in a while! ?. Staff were friendly and the service was very quick. Will definitely be back! ?
Our first time here, and found the food delicious, and fresh. Restaurant is very clean, servers friendly, and efficient. We're going back, again!

The food is great and love this place. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars, is dued to the customer service we received the past 2 times coming to this location. There is a young Caucasian girl who has no type of manners or good customer service. The first time we came across her, she just stared at us and didn’t greet us upon entering. Before we began to order, she had left and came back to the counter to tell us that it was 25 min wait, but didn’t specify on what. So we left after that. We just returned after a week and upon pulling up, she was sitting outside on her phone video chatting and we entered the store before her. Once again we weren’t greeted and she asked us if we already knew what we wanted and that was it. Someone needs to train her better. We won’t be returning until something is done about her.
Unbelievablely fantastic! I used to think living in Jacksonville Florida I was as far a a US resident could get from Hawaii. L & L has fixed that with their delicious food of moist and tender meat, sticky white rice, and that fabulous macaroni salad, I got Hawaii just down the street! Highly recommend this place!
Casual counter service with several outdoor tables. Recommend the Curry and BBQ over the saimin. Musubi rice balls are pretty good-sized.
Great food! I had the pork khalua plate and it was amazing! Pulled seasoned pork shoulder with cabbage accompanied by white rice and island style mac salad. Will be back!
This is my new fave place. The owner is so nice and friendly. The foods are really tasty and cheap! Good portions as well ☺️ I don’t mind driving 30 mins everytime just to eat here ☺️ I’m so happy I found this place!
