Great food and delightful to meet the owner who came to our table and helped cook the meal right at the table. Making sure that it was properly cooked, of course! Everything was delicious. We sat at one of the tables with the grill and what a great experience we had.
Place seems kid friendly, many colored drawing were hung up. Came in for lunch and the dish we wanted to order was unavailable. Ended up ordering the Tangsuyuk and Dduk Mandi Guk. The Tangsuyuk was not palatable. The onions in the dish were still raw, the pineapple is canned, and the pork was very tough and chewy. The rice also came in a chipped bowl with a few sharp ends. Not safe or sanitary to eat from. The Dduk Mandu Guk was disappointing. The soup was flavorless and for $16 (more expensive than the Mandu appetizer option) there were only 3 small pieces of dumplings that did not taste like beef and did not resemble the picture at all. The dish was mostly water. The banchan was alright, but not enough to make up for the experience. The waiter never once came to ask how the food was or to refill our drinks. Sadly, it seems like the food and service has lost its Seoul.
First time here. Everything was delicious and service was great. We ordered japchae for an appetizer and 2 beef bulgogi, saeu bokum, and bulgogi dubu ramyun. Our order came with 10 banchan and all of them were great.
I am by no means an expert on Korean food. But the food was good and there was plenty. It came out certainly hot of the fire. The service was good. Mama Kim came over to check on us. She added extra sauce for us. Prices were fair for the food we got.
Our waiter sucked. Really no other way to put it. Seemed like taking our order was a chore. Took our order and pretty much was non existent after that. Had to ask for a coke refill for two of us after passing by our table at least 5 times. Never asked if the food was good or not. Just really absent. Now the food and pricing. Bottom line is this is most certainly not worth the price. Food was ok at best. Never had Korean food but I have had plenty of Ramen, sushi, Pho, and all sorts of delicious Asian food in much better places with a much better wait staff. Save your money and go to Hanna Moon, Thai Cuisine and Noodle House, Kazu, or Bowl of Pho if your craving excellent Asian cuisine… this place, is ok at best. If this mess was priced better and had waiters that give a crap…it might help but, the food was just not that great. Look at some of the other reviews…pretty much sums it up.
The food is great, the people are nice, but the attention isn't there. You can go a break without a refill. This was a high customer ratio night, during a high traffic period though. I look forward to trying them again at a more strategic time
Korean BBQ restraunt where the food tastes like an excellent home cooked meal! We ordered the bulgogi, yukgaejang spicy soup, Dol sot Bibimbap, calamari, and dumplings.Glad to have decent Korean BBQ. Beware the staff here are super nice, and honest when assisting with menu selection. I would highly recommend eating here if you want to try something different in Jax.A little on the pricey side; nevertheless, would still recommend.
This place was god awful. We didn’t even get food, just our drinks! My family and I had ordered 3 entrees to share, seems reasonable. We got the order in and then the owner comes to talk to us, saying we all had to buy an entree for ourselves and we couldn’t share or we would be charged $7.99. Legally, she can’t make us pay $7.99 for sharing, also it was $7.99 per person…it was a table of 12. No where on the menu did it state that if we were to share we would have to pay $7.99 per person, but the owner was persistent and kept saying we would have to. We got up and left, we only paid for our drinks. The service was horrible and I feel bad for the waitress who had to serve us, she would’ve got an amazing tip, but the owner had such a nasty attitude! Worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant! There was only two other people inside the restaurant and the places location doesn't bring attraction, any person would think that the owner would be grateful to have PAYING CUSTOMERS! Also, the prices for food are bad in general, save your time and money and go somewhere else!
me and my friend came here to eat and really sad to say this the food wasn't as good as we thought it was and the way our waiters were not happy when they served us the meal finished we charged they charged 20% for something I need to explain but they really don't know how to explain and their owner is very careless and doesn't care about us and she told the staff to delete that bill and print out another one we have Attached the picture below and today the bank has charged too much. I advise people not to come here
First Korean BBQ experience, it was not too bad. Little expensive at first sight but I haven't been to other places to compare. There are a few selections to grill at the table but require 2 orders minimum to be able to grill at the table. Friend and I ordered the bulgogi entrée that comes with a ban chan (side dish spread). The ban chan was very underwhelming, the portions were entirely too little between 2 people. The marinated bulgogi was the best flavored part. The grilling at the table is a cool experience but probably won't do it again. Mandu (beef dumplings) were excellent. Flavors were all pretty good no complaints, but the service didn't seem consistent where we were being helped by 3 different servers and it seemed confusing.
