The staff all had lovely attitudes, attentive, alert, and asked questions. The ice cream was great. I thought I would have been fine with one scoop, but it wasn’t enough. Too bad they were closed immediately after. The coconut ice cream was made of real/fine coconut and fresh cream. The waffle bowl is a nice edition for people like myself who are meticulous and do not want to make a mess, but still enjoy the waffle cone. I’m not a huge ice cream fan, I have other sweet tooth addictions, but I enjoyed this ice cream shop.
Kilwins is a favorite for me and my family everytime we come to Jacksonville. Great ice cream and candy. The team is always friendly and the service is great. A shout-out to Blair who served me some wonderful Georgia Peach ice cream! Thanks Blair!
Best candy, ice cream, chocolates, carmel apples, and carmel corn! Just the smell is worth walking in! Waffle cones are made fresh daily. The pecan brittle is out of this world! The chocolate covered strawberries are sinfully delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking. Need I say more? Go and enjoy!
Wonderful customer service and an amazing variety of treats! The ice cream is delicious and full of flavor. Everything is beautifully decorated. The caramel corn is fresh! The apples are so good and come in so many flavors. Each choose piece is made in store and the smell of fudge is the cherry on top. Always clean and organized. Really amazing treats!
Lots of sweets and many ice cream flavors. We were served promptly and with courtesy too.The shop was not very busy but by the time we were leaving it became packed LollIt was very hard not to grab one of each as all looked so soooo yummy.
The very first??Kilwins?was opened in Petoskey, Michigan in the year 1947. Now the beloved ice?????cream/candy????shop is sharing their tasty treats across the??U.S. The moment you?♂️step into a Kilwins you are welcomed?with a pleasing, mouth? watering aroma of freshly made waffle?cones, and various assortment of????chocolates. Check this??place out if you've never been! Or come for the free??smells.?
Always a great experience and I love their caramel apples and butter pecan ice-cream. Best I've tried so far. They also have specials weekly too.
**Add edit to business reply: You do not require employees to have gloves on when scooping ice cream? That seems bizarre. Having worked in food service that wouldn't fly at all.Masks are obviously a choice, but gloves? No masks on any employees; ice cream scooper had no gloves on; really, REALLY pushing their fudge
The store was great, it was my first time being there (1/15/22)! I was amazed at all of the options of treats I had to choose from, however I did not like the fact that they did not have a limit of how many people should be in the store, nor wearing masks. I understand the state or city may have lifted the mandate, but common sense would tell you, to still take safety precautions running a store or restaurants at this magnitude. Whether its Covid - related on not! But overall the experience was not bad, the everything in there is very expensive for some chocolates. Shopping there once or twice a month is the limit for me! Shop as far as I can tell was nice and clean! I will come back and visit there one day! :-) The nice young gentleman who served us was really nice!
Best icecream place in town. Loved all the different variety of flavors and chocolate delicacies. Yumm! Highly recommend
