Probably the best place for breakfast, on the weekends only I believe. Don't sleep on the breakfast pizza. I recommend adding bacon to the "breakfast cheesy." The potatoes are also delicious, and the Jax sauce goes great with both the pizza and hash browns. For lunch or dinner, they make a great bacon cheeseburger too. David and the other guys do a fantastic job and will make sure you get the sauces you want!
Don’t even know where to start. This is an awesome place that was put together to take place of the red elephant. The ordered the duval burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries are amazing. Other than it being a wee-bit expensive, this is an awesome place! Really friendly staff as well which makes the experience even better. Well done.
Excellent service! Great food! It was my first time here and I was trying something different. I. decided to get a gluten free bun and fries. After the meal they asked how I liked my first experience and when I admitted I wasn’t a fan of how my gluten free bun tasted, they remade me a whole new burger! Very attentive staff that show pride in their work! Thank you!
Thank you Jumpin Jax for a phenomenal post championship meal. Your staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food had a lot of variety and all 40 players plus coaches and parents found something on the menu to make them happy. This couldn’t have worked out better for such a large group with varied tastes. . Thank you again and we hope to be back forThe state finals again next year!
Burger tasted weird in a way I can't really explain, salad dressing was gelatinous, my wife's bean burger was messed up twice, and no one of age was available so I had to grab my own beer from the cooler. All the tables, chairs and floors were sticky. Staff was all super friendly, I don't blame them at all they were working their butts off, but the owner needs to get their s*** together, this coming from someone whose been in F&B for many years.
We went to the downtown location after the gate river run today and first of all everything we had was amazing and the service was on point! However the reason for this review is to spotlight Charles, who I believe to be the manager. So we ate, everything was great, I went to the restroom, then we left. I got 30 minutes away in macclenny and realized I had left my wallet in the bathroom! I frantically called the restaurant and Charles answered and immediately went to the womens restroom and thank God my wallet was still there ?? So I told Charles I was on my way. So here’s the thing, I have the normal stuff in my wallet, debit cards, license, but I also had $300 cash in it as well. I was praying the whole time that the cash would still be there bc I’m not in any position to lose that kinda money. So I get back and Charles pulls my wallet out of a drawer behind the counter and I immediately looked inside and seen that everything was still in place! I was in tears. Anyone else would’ve looked in there, took the cash, and could’ve easily said it must’ve been some woman who used the restroom after me..and honestly how would I know any different? Needless to say I gave him a monetary reward that he refused a couple times before I insisted that he take it. This man is an honest, respectful guy who happens to have perfect customer service and can cook up some outstanding food! So I just wanted to say thank you again, Charles and we will definitely be back!
I had the A-Thang Burger. Just superb. Amazing. Fries were fresh & seasoned just right. Great lunch spot. Highly recommend it. Highly underrated establishment of Jacksonville. I cannot comment on their pizzas, but the perfectly crafted burgers are just on point!!!!
Would highly recommend the Mandrain location. Tonight we visited with a group of 8 for a birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by several people with smiles and asked if we had any questions. The atmosphere was inviting and open. They have community tables to accommodate very large parties too. Seven of the 8 had never been in before. The menu has a variety of items and everyone in our party had something different. The pizza, burgers, tenders, zucchini fries, onion rings, and Mac n cheese were all tasty. Large sizes and fair prices. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Don’t skip on desserts either. Nate made our experience special by checking on us and sending our birthday girl home with a slice of cheesecake. He was very personable and invited us all back with a $5 card toward our next purchase. We really appreciated the hospitality for a “counter service” type of restaurant. We all agreed we will be returning. Thank you all for making our experience 5 ⭐️!
This place is excellent. The 904 club is the best grilled chicken sandwich on the planet. ( I get it with a wheat bun)The burgers are great and artisan. Very unique.The pizza is also good.The Caesar dressing is amazing and so garlicky!Everything is made with great attention and care with quality ingredients. Highly recommend!!!
Love this place. Great burgers and sandwiches with a great atmosphere. My kids love the interesting names they call out when your order is ready.
