This place is awesome. Speakers all around playing nice music. Beautiful fountain, works of art throughout the park. Small kids play area and plenty of places for really good pics. The massive library is across the street and is ice cold if u need to cool off and you can ride the Monorail. The best part.... it's FREE!

It's always nice there. Monday -Friday they have a few food trucks that you can go to for lunch. Also, during the summer they have a misting station to cool you off. They also have live music from local artists a few days out of the week during lunch.

Nice visit- it was refreshing in the downtown area.Clean and music playing, relaxing shaded trees. Small play area for little ones. It was a nice quick visit in our downtown walk. Right by the Metro People Mover.

We went for the first ever JAG Boilers crawfish festival. It was amazing! Great location, easy parking. $5 parking at the library garage made it even easier.

Great little area to get food and play chess. Watch the locals and hard working people at city hall and working the food truck. Old history new history here

Today's event was a chalk art competition. The artist all had their little space to create art and public was walking around and voting for their favorite! Some of the creations were very impressive! The event had a DJ adding an overall great vibe. Very fun to walk by and chat with artists and people!!

Had some galaxy ?vibes w/ Martha Mae & Marvis J.They enjoyed themselves ??

Very beautiful park clean .Enjoyed the vendors.food truck and African American Dancers .Diversity Matters !!

JWJ Park is still a city plaza. They do have seating at little tables from about 9am till 2pm most weekdays. Different food trucks are stage in the plaza each weekday also. They have an astroturf area for children to play in.City events are staged here most notably Art Walk the first Wednesday of the month. There are homeless in the plaza most times but they are mostly harmless just relaxing with friends. The main fountain needs to be cleaned a bit more but that's just a personal gripe.

Love the atmosphere of this area .. It brings some heritage I didn't know .. I like the water fountain and that it seems like the center of the city .. Would say that I wish I had caught the train from here to go to other parts of the city .. It's all nice though ..
