We had a great experience. The food was to die for and the drinks strong. There was one issue that cleared quickly.
A must visit spot when you are at the Town Center! J. Alexander’s offers a great place for small group dine-in, both for lunch and dinner! Environment and decorations are awesomely garnished. Special thanks to the small card at each table! If you want to add some dining temperament, you are always welcome to book ahead.For the food, slow roasted prime rib tastes so well. It feels like beef melting at the tongue.J. Alexander’s also provides daily menu, which brings some daily specialities. We got rainbow trout during our visit. Hope you also find something great here!
I absolutely ? love this place!!! Yes. It is pricey but you get what you pay for, delicious food, great service and awesome ambiance. I love love love their cypress salad. Fresh salad, out of this world's croutons and the best crispy chicken you'll ever taste. And plenty to eat.
The hostess was very attentive, funny and patient. The food was good, I had the rotisserie chicken and smashed potatoes and asparagus with a Reis Wine. Great Atmosphere and ambience. Will go back♡
I Must Say This Is A Place To Go Mr Chris Definitely Has The Restaurant In Order Per His Shifts. The Food Was Amazing. Very Tasteful, Didn’t Have To Wait To Long For My Food Mrs Ashlyn And Kylie Suggest A Drink & I wasn’t Even Her Customer They We’re Amazing … Definitely Recommend!!!!!

The potato soup that they have on Sundays (I think it’s seasonal) is the best! The rest of the food is really good, too. The fish I had on my fish tacos didn’t have a lot of flavor, but the fish they use is different based on availability, so it’s probably great sometimes. The service is great.
Love J.Alexander’s for their “steak and fries” steak is good better then average what makes this steak better is garlic butter, it make whole meal ten times better. Atmosphere is good in restaurant maybe to dark for lunch, also be ready your closes will smell after. Also, if planning to come with group if people without reservation they won’t sit you until 80% of party shows up.
I have visited this location quite often. However, the server we had was Tess L. based on the food receipt. She was not attentive. She did not treat me and my date the same as she treated the table in front of us. It took awhile for her to come and get the drink order. However, as soon as the next table was sat she was over to get drink orders immediately. It doesn' t take much to ruin a date night.
Excellent Ribs, steaks and the Mac n Cheese was superb. The entire family loved the dining experience here and the service Was exemplary. Desserts were perfect and on point as well. One of the best dining experiences in Jacksonville!
