I had gone to Island wings shortly after they first opened and sat on the patio. Was not super impress with the smoked fish dip or the buffalo sandwich. Service was a little slow *** Yesterday I sat at the bar and ordered this ahi blt. I loved it. Fresh velvety tuna and the wasabi aioli put it over the top. Bun was a little plain and didnt quite hold up but that is minor to me when the innards were this tasty. Fries were well seasoned and crispy especially for oven baked. Barkeep Robin(and her coworker) were attentive and never let me do without *** They have around 40 beer taps and surprisingly, they also have a good selection of bourbons *** Another plus . . . 2 miles from the house *Hugs*
Much needed sports bar for this area! The menu options are plentiful, probably even too plentiful. It was a wait of about 30-35 min which is completely reasonable for any eatery in this area. The food and drinks we had were great and exceeded expectations! They also have specials on various days! Taco Twosday and House Wines for $3 on Wednesdays! I was also surprised to learn that they close at 2am on Thursday-Saturday. That is pretty rare for this area but also amazing because you never know when you’ll need a late night meal.
Went out with my friend for some wings. He recommended this place and indeed, it was a good spot! Great environment, can get pretty crowded, wings were great and the bbq chicken flat bread was delicious. Our server was super nice and will definitely come back!!!!
These are some of the best wings we have eaten from a wing place. My partner loves spicy food and he ordered the second spiciest wings on the menu, he wasn't expecting much because normally, places don't make their wings super hot, however he was pleasantly surprised by the spice! He loved them! The burger was also very good!They also make the best fries I've ever eaten! The waitress was also very attentive and kind! 10/10 recommend!
Had a great night out solo thanks to Tristan @ the bar. He was very accommodating and a pleasant person to talk to. Would definitely go back knowing it was a safe place as a single woman to drink at. Left to use the powder room and he held my drink back behind the bar with no hesitation. The food smelled great while I was there, will definitely be back sooner than later.
Pretty good. If anyone has problem with the cold might want bring long sleeve they do have A/C blasting. We had some nacho thing for appetizer and it was not that great. But the wings are awesome. Got the Tiki Fire which are pretty spicy. Had me crying. We also got the Carolina Gold which are so dang tasty. Then with some Garlic Parm.
The bartender Sarah is exceptional, fast to serve, charming and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere for watching the big game. Get the baked wings.. spicy Thai chili rules
Long time patron with varied experiences. This visit on March 3rd gets 5stars. Greeted and seated immediately and assigned favorite server Oscar who was his usual friendly accommodating self. Had a visit from manager Parker who welcomed us back. Food was perfectly cooked and delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Oscar and Parker.
The food was amazing. You would never think that it's not fried in oil. It's all air fried or baked. Their basket fries are perfectly crunchy and seasoned that really they need nothing else. The food came out quickly and the setvice was great. Our server PArker is a super guy, quick and very on top of his customer service. He even gave us a to go sause to try. Its a for sure that we will be back. Thank you to the manager also he was super cool and so nice to talk too.
The atmosphere is unappealing. The seating is uncomfortable and there is something about the proportions of the space that is just off... That said, the service was pretty good for a fast-foodish style chain. The food however, was really mediocre. The fried zucchini appetizer was expensive and terrible - ONE STAR - (spice, texture, sauce, all of it). The food was overall bad. One burger was cooked to order rare, and the other was completely overcooked, hard, dry and unpleasant. The menu seemed contrived for cutesy different rather than for superior taste (like the burger with pineapple rings). We should have tried the wings I guess if that's their specialty, but the rest of the menu was not special at all and pretty poorly executed.
