We picked up dinner and was charged yesterday at almost 7pm. I just received another like (exactly like what I got yesterday for the dinner purchase) letting my know I was charged again, for a completely different amount, over 24 hours later. I’m concerned as to how my card number/info was still in anyone’s hands. I have not anything credited to my amount, nor was I able to reach anyone at the restaurant about this.
Bad experience there, people handling food without gloves or hair nets. Young people clowning and talking over your food while preparing it. One of the cooks left the stove, frying chicken, to hugging and playing with the cashier, trying to hook up and don't even care customers are watching. Imagine the spraying of spit, etc while they're seasoning your food and horse playing, yelling over the counter at each other. I've seen a little girl playing from front to back and even where the chicken is being fried. They need a more mature and responsible group of people serving the public. Tidy up some of your employees, because the hair and clothing needs improvement. I refuse to go back there after seeing the real deal today.
Great and quality food. Fresh and served hot. Order my son shrimp and fries and just say it ate everything. We will be returning back when we visit Jacksonville again. I would rate this establishment a 6 star if it was possible..
This is supposed to be a flounder and chicken dinner but the fish looks like a jigsaw puzzle!! This was the most unsatisfactory take out I ever purchased. I will NEVER order from this restaurant EVER again. And to add insult to injury they demanded I bring the food back to them to receive a full refund. I want everyone to see how we received this Disgusting service. Also the young lady whom took the order could use phone Etiquette training.
NEVER AGAIN!!!The lack of professionalism was enough to make me drive 30 minutes across town in the future. Not only did I call my order in, as requested, 3 hours in advance I STILL had to wait almost an hour before I received it making me late to my event. I was also serviced by an individual wearing a head scarf, who was rude, cursed at other staff in the presence of patrons and offered no apology when there was an issue with my receipt. The young lady act as if she was doing me a favor by making things right. Bad quality in service far outweighs any decency of food. Business owners should work to create a culture that represents them and the mission of the business when they are not present. I’d rather take my business somewhere with “OK” food and quality service than here. NEVER AGAIN!!
This place is definitely a hidden gem. Straight Simple and to the point. Great customer service every time I come here and the Food Quality has NOT failed us once. If you love some good'ol fried chicken, try this spot out
Was pleasantly surprised! The food is Very tasty and filling. The seasoning is just right and the cole slaw is to kill for! Need to step up their drive-thru process but other than that the food is worth the wait!
Their food is served hot and fresh, but their internal nuances need to be addressed. For one, I have, on several occasions ordered large dark meat chicken orders from their establishment just to find that the 30 piece leg/thigh order is actually a 30 piece wing order. Then, when you return it for correction, they dump a few wings out and then put legs and thighs over them to make it look like they corrected the order. Secondly, the females that work the register and phone lines are belligerent, rude, and downright not customer friendly at all! Lastly, they need to work on their timeliness! If you tell me that my order will be ready in 15 minutes, when I arrive I shouldn't have another 30 to 45 minute wait! And forget their drive through. It's a total nightmare! Otherwise, they have great sweet tea, keep a clean facility (i.e. restroom and dining area)
Definitely will be the last time coming. Called my order in and was told 15-20 minutes. On arrival, 30 minutes later my food wasn't even started. Had to wait another 30 minutes..... Just to be given an incorrect order. This place gets worse every time and is nowhere near as good as it use to be. My last time going
its Superbowl Sunday & they open the door late....nothing was ready & the drive thru was around the building. it was 20+ people inside & they still taking orders & we all have been waiting 30+ mins. they're so worried about getting the drive thru orders out & not taking care of the people inside. I will never come back here. the staff was sorry & taking their time...Guess I'll b cooking my own wings
