JAX-MEX! Had the house tacos (steak) and chips with queso. Deliscioso! The chips are crispy and not greasy. The queso is cheesy goodness. Consistently high quality food, served fast. The restaurant and rest rooms are clean. San Marco is one of the hippest areas of Jacksonville. Vintage architecture is all around. Go for a stroll after your meal and check out the sights.
Definitely been wanting to check this place out and boy should I just saved my money and time. First of I know that times of service change especially with being short staff etc but the sign at the front door it's so small me and my group of friends didn't see. And idk maybe tell us that you close literally in 10 minutes we wanted to sit down and actually enjoy our food. Cashier had an attitude as soon as we walk in and waited to tell us until we ordered our food that they close in 10 minutes.. Definitely don't waist your time or money not worth it at all.
Blackened shrimp burrito was delicious! Loved the thick but tasty chips and the kids meals were very nicely sized. Grabbed takeout and will do so again when we hit up Aardwolf down the street!
Burrito wasn’t so bad. Chef was nice too & also the girl at the cash register. But old lady gave a weird look while handing the food to me. I like one salsa out of 4. Parking is on side. Few spots. Chips were okay.
Found this place on a business trip, wish I would have found it earlier. The burritos are awesome and very filling. They a good selection of items on the menu and a small but tasty beer selection. The staff is awesome and the young lady at the register was super nice and funny. Definitely recommend trying this place if you are in Jacksonville.
Went in for lunch on Tuesday 1-4-22The customer service is horrible, the lady taking orders is very rude. I pointed out that we were in a pandemic and she should have on a mask she rolled her eyes. Then I asked why there was only one salsa on the “salsa bar and she said as you pointed out we are in the middle of a pandemic so we have production issues. If you don’t like it talk to Biden. Will never return. I heard someone call her Jacky.
To add on to my Sisters review not only was the cashier Jacky BEYOND RUDE SHE OPENLY TALKED ABOUT HER PERSONAL LIFE (and it was completely inappropriate) IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!! I know Restaurants are desperate for employees but she should be Let go!!
Went in very RUDE STAFF!!! Cashier is awful, I gave her a 50 she said did you not see the sign we don’t have a lot of change. I apologized and said it was all I had. She snatched it out of my hand and said You just tookAll my change. Others are right FIRE HER she is costing u business.
