I heard great things from my buddy Jay P so I looked them up on Facebook earlier in the week for their location/schedule and found they would be in the area on my side of the Buckman Bridge on Friday.I found them located at 5891 Greenland Chase Boulevard with a number of customers happily enjoying their treats, taking pics with their Halo-Halo and posing with the owners. I decided on going for the GUSTO and ordered the Halo-Halo Bowl (as they say “go big or go home”). This was a 32 ounce bowl with shaved ice, milk, jackfruit, red coconut gel, shredded coconut, red beans, plantains, pinipig (krispies), topped with Ube/vanilla ice cream and flan. I had slightly modified it and requested extra jackfruit. It was an unseasonably cool evening in early May so very little melting on my drive home. Got home, took a pic to post, and me and the wife spent the next 20 minutes or so mixing up all the different ingredients and enjoying some of THE BEST Halo-Halo we’ve had in awhile. Quality plentiful ingredients really make the difference !!!You can also find their location/schedule on Instagram. So if you are craving a cool delicious treat during one of the typical hot days here in Florida, I strongly recommend to locate them to be served by some of the nicest and friendliest people providing some of the most popular and refreshing Filipino treats/desserts !!!
