very friendly!! food is amazing!! cant get enough of this place.

Good recommendation are only given to good works, I appreciate the effort of Mrs Kathleen Eric for helping me work from home mostly in this pandemic period. I am making an amazing profits, after investing $1000 in forex trading and now making 15,900$ on a weekly basis, All thanks to her. It wouldn’t have been easy for me and my family but her help with trading made us live even more financially better than before the other years. Interested ones only should DM her through ??? Small establishment with a working class crowd. Fantastic food. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was very delicious. The beans were average. The French fries were okay. My wife had the gator stacked which was 5 stars, delicious! Don’t get the Mac and cheese. We’re definitely coming back back here for the sandwiches.

My new favorite BBQ restaurant!! That's saying something bc I'm very picky about my BBQ. Fast and friendly service. Generous portions! Most importantly -.perfectly smoked fat and juicy full sized make you dance in your seat ribs!!???We got the rib dinner with 2 sides, slaw and fries. It came with 5 huge ribs, seasoned fries, and sweet cole slaw. I say we bc Hubby and I shared it and it was more than enough food. So dang delicious!! Our son got the NC Pork sandwich came with fries and drink. The sandwich was so packed high with juicy pork that he could barely get his mouth around it. ? Big Man Stamp of Approval!I want to add, as a woman's POV, the restaurant was clean and decor was cute. To my surprise even the restroom was very clean, decorated and smelled good. That says a lot to me. ? You've got to check 'em out if you love BBQ. A friend texted me and said they also have delicious fried fish. Now I gotta go back! I would give them 10 ⭐if I could. #DeliciousBBQ #Yallcomeandgetit #BBQ

Food was amazing as always. My family has been coming here for years and the service has always been outstanding. Today however was very different the short blonde, older women with glasses, I believe to be the manager, was very rude. In taking our order she was very snippy. She was also eating the sample pork rinds while taking my order, I found this very unsanitary and just out right unprofessional. I feel this is a situation where an employee has become complacent. I’ve read other reviews referring to the same women. I’m sorry but if you lack customer service skills stay away from the register. I really hope something can be done about her lack of professionalism. Regardless of how amazing the food is, if I walk in and see her at the register I will take my business else where. All the waitresses are absolutely amazing and friendly. Allow them to engage with the customer for better customer service . Thank you

Super fast, friendly, and most importantly, delicious! Busy even during off hours, but don't let that deter you. Even if there isn't seating for you, you can always take your BBQ to go! Had their mild sausage, Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, garlic toast, brisket, beans, fries, and banana pudding. Would recommend ALL of those things!

Gators catered our Grandson and Granddaughter-in-laws gender reveal. Food was awesome and everyone enjoyed. The staff was very helpful and professional.

Came here for lunch on a Monday. Ordered the lunch beef brisket with fries and macaroni & cheese. Brisket was delicious, tender and juicy. Fries were good, too - can't really mess those up. Mac n cheese was creamy, also good. A little pricey for lunch - $18.

Good BBQ, Convenient to HighwayWe travel the route around Jacksonville somewhat regularly and were happy to see good reviews for a BBQ place convenient to I-295. Gators looks like a typical BBQ shack with unpaved & haphazard parking, unlit signage, a counter for ordering and a few tables at which to eat.The staff members were some of the nicest anywhere. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, friendly, helpful and charming. We tried to order a variety of items to taste a good cross-section of the menu. The pulled-pork dinner was quite nice. The pork wasn't at all fatty and had some nice, chewy outside bits sprinkled throughout. I didn't find any of the accompanying sauces particularly appealing. The cole slaw side was a disappointment and tasted like the kind that comes out of a big jug from Costco. The collard greens side was very good. The Brunswick stew was quite nice, but nothing really special. Disappointing were the fried corn cob and the fried squash disks. We had read some good reviews for these items but they suffered the fate of most fried vegetables--the moisture is kept inside and they turn into unappealing mush.Because of the convenient location I would go again to try the ribs and beans and a few other menu items. But I can't say that I would go far out of my way to eat there again.

Gold sauce is best
