Very poor service. The young lady the works as cashier tried to FORCE a higher tip on us and showing us a receipt where someone tipped them 30$. She came off very rude and very aggressive. Also, she started yelling at us about a pen.
Ordered some hibachi steak came uncooked. I told the rude server she said “wachu wan mi tu du, u wan more cook”. I was like at least cook it a little and she gave me an attitude and rolled her eyes.
All you can eat sushi was a great experience. Was the fastest I've ever gotten my food after ordering. Will definitely be coming back.
The place itself is small, and somewhat clean. We have been there several times, but the last two times sealed the deal on why we will not return. They recently updated the menu and have added two dinner prices. We arrived at 2:15; lunch ends at 2:30. There register must be about 15-20 ahead of time as they said we arrived at 2:35. (This is easy for an owner to adjust). My husband specifically said 2 for lunch. We were charged for 2 dinners. When we confronted the owner, she didn't care. Good for her. If you should go, make sure you write down your time and have the server acknowledge it, or you, too, will be conned.
Overall good experience got 3 rolls off the lunch menu..didn't follow directions on one. Just didn't eat it. The other two were delicious.
We always go to San jose location. For the first time we went to this location. The food was good, I won't lie about this one. The problem started with the check. They added $12 as a tip on top of it they charged $8.99 because mu 2 year old ate couple of my rolls so they added as kids menu (I did not argue about this part - whatever). We asked for the tip to be removed.... at this time the cashier start yelling at us that they work for tips only. I said well we always leave tip as a cash. She said no you pay now with credit card all. I asked her to show me where it says that tip is added to the bill? She said everybody pay it. Asked again where does it say because as far I know there is no law for it, if this is their policy that's fine, but they need to inform people about it. She was keep yelling. At this time I was laughing. My bill before tip was about $57.85 with tip $68. I gave her $60 in cash. She start yelling to get out and never come back - is not like I ever would. So stay way from fuji sushi on Beach Blvd.
Amazing food for a great price! All you can eat lunch was delicious, we ordered hibachi as well as sushi. Menu was more simple than some Chinese places, which made decisions easier.Staff was very attentive, helpful, quick and kind to our family.
Still the best bang for the buck when it comes to all you can eat sushi, and still the worst, most brutal service ever imaginable. BEWARE, 20% gratuity added to every table, unless you choose to seat by the food prep bar.
I’m a sushi fan. I don’t know why,but raw fish and rice work for me. Along with all of the different sauces and toppings that the sushi chef can use , I just love it.If you have never been to this style restaurant this is how they do it.For lunch at this time it’s an all you can eat style menu at $13.95 for dinner it $18.95 or $24.95 if you choose the premium menu,My favorite on the entire menu for lunch or dinner is the BMW and I generally choose several orders of steamed vegetables and some grilled salmon. There is a selection of starters including soups ,salads. These folks hustle, so your selections will come out fast and they will keep bringing them as long as you keep ordering them. However, although I have never been charged a “Food Wasting Charge “, there is a notation at the bottom of the menu that indicates if you order a lot which you do not consume, there may be a fee for what they throw away.Interesting ? , so keep that in mind.So if you’ve never tied it go give it a whirl.
Staff were very nice and attentive. Service was FAST compared to the other Fuji Sushi locations. Good fun music ?
