This is my new favorite rest! I lived in Lyon and in St. Marten and long for French food. The owner chef does a wonderful job of offering regional dishes and she is lovely! This place is quintessential French, down to earth and authentic. Jacksonville has been blessed with her presence!
I lived in Paris for 3 years to finish my master degree, so I can say: THE best croissant outside Paris! Everything is just so tasty!!! Sooo French! I am sure the bad reviews are coming from people that are used to groceries stores bakery! If you love real food you will definitely love this place! Almost afraid to let the secret out, because it's a small bistro and we easily get a table on Sunday morning with no wait. But this place is amazing. Fresh, authentic french food, fantastic service, REALLY good cappuccino.
The breakfast was amazing! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try something different. I got a brie and jam croissant. The staff is friendly, the restaurant clean and food fresh!
