The food here was not very good. I don't think the greens they served were collards, they left a 3 day bad taste in my mouth. I think they were mustard. The pulled pork ad no flavor and was saved by the mustard bbq sauce. The best part was the servers, they were quick and friendly. As a foodie I do not recommend...
Found them Google Maps and came because of the reviews. GLAD WE DID. We had the Pork Moab sandwich with a side of collard greens as well as the fish. Food was great and service was as well. Brie was great. For the first time here we felt very welcome.
We’re new to the area and checking out new BBQ joints, absolutely loved the atmosphere, service and food at Fred’s! We showed up , ordered for take-out and couldn’t have been more pleased. We will definitely go back and take friends and family there that visit! Didn’t get a chance to get pics of the grub cause I was so dang hungry, but we did get some of the menu… enjoy!

Fantastic place. Totally need to go here. Breast bbq. Doesn't even need sauce. Great menu. Lots of options. Sides were great.
Good food with decent portions! Absolutely enjoyed the selection of sauces! Had a good home town atmosphere, but the dining area was a bit crowded with table seating placed so close together the staff had to slip between tables sideways. Could definitely use a bigger place, but other than that I enjoyed the experience!
Yum! The ribs were fall off the bone and I got the collard greens and potato salad that was deliciously homemade. Liz was really friendly. I will definitely be back!?
I ordered a slab of ribs, no sides. The ribs were tender but didn't have much flavor. You know how we do? Cotten's ribs didn't have the flavor I was anticipating, however they were tender so there's the option to take them home and liven up their taste.
So this is an interesting place. What i really like is that it is clean and roomy. Nice decor. Now for the food. You get lots of it. Not great flavor. You have to add your sauces to your meats. Eh..i got the mac and cheese only to find out they make it all stove top (no oven) which means it was starchy. Hush puppies were slammin. The waitress told us all about feeling sad because her boyfriend of 7 years called it quits because of having too much gut and butt. Frankly we ate up her conversation more than the food. My take. Get an oven and serve cornbread! Jeez.
