As always, delicious sandwiches that can't be found anywhere else! The Ruben Special is my favorite, on toasted eye bread. The pickle spear is so crisp. It's the ONLY pickle I will eat. It comes with potato chips or potato salad - neither of which I like. I wish they had more options, like fresh fruit or a salad instead of chips. The real deal is the half sandwich and cup of soup or salad. But you can't get my Ruben with that deal. I wish I could!! I only eat half of the sandwich so that would be perfect. But even so, this place is a great place for sandwiches. And i need to mention the desserts! They have a glass case full of delicious cookies, baklava, cakes, etc. Also, imported beer is on display, an entire wall of choices! Lots of good stuff here!!??
Always fresh and delicious! Never disappointed and I will continue to eat there when I am in Jacksonville! One of my favorite places to eat!
Great atmosphere, service and food was excellent!
The food is delicious-- all sorts of wonderful sandwiches and dishes. We sit on the patio and enjoy the breeze. The dessert case has so many options. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and beer pairing.The parking is a bit of a challenge but not enough to warrant less than a 5 star rating.
We sat outside on this beautiful day. The service was absolutely the best. Heather took excellent care of us. She has a wonderful smile and prompt service. The food is consistently good. You can always count on it to be fresh and delicious. And always just as you request it. Save room for dessert.
Amazing experience at this location. I wish I could remember my waitors name although he did inform my cousin and I he was the only colored person that works at this establishment. This was my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet. I enjoyed seeing the tribute to Betty White on the rotator wall decor. I tried the German potato salad for the first time in my life. It was different but I will definitely eat it again. The food here was fast and fresh.
One of favorite places for sandwiches. Blue Max on pumpernickel and Roast Beef Cheddar wrap are my favorites.
We had a variety of items for three people. Beer selection is extensive, as is the menu, with items you don't find anywhere else. The restaurant payout has people tripping over each other when it is crowded and it is difficult to find a place to park - plan to walk a ways. There was nothing bad about the meal, but is was also not stellar. A good lunch - a good place to go once in a while, not every week.
We stopped for dessert and hot tea. We walked in, and found a wonderful warm atmosphere. The most beautiful dessert case ....enormous! Friendly staff. The menu is quite varied, I can't wait to try some savory dishes. Tonight we got the Granny Smith apple pie, Italian lemon cream cake, and a German chocolate cookie. VERY very good! We will definitely come back on our next trip!
The beer and food was excellent. Had a taste of Unibroue & Guinness. Food was German Monster Weiner!
