The restaurant was very disappointing. The service was very poor. The food that we did eat was good such as the prime rib lumpia. We had a party at seven and we had to wait which was expected. Once we all ordered our entrees it took 39 minutes and 58 seconds for the manager to come over with her tablet to let us know that we had not been waiting that long and I had only been 30 minutes. The reason I know it was 39 minutes and 58 seconds is because she had a timer on the tablet with the orders. We canceled our entrées and paid for appetizers and drinks that we ordered. Well canceling our orders at no time did the manager let us know that the food was ready. She honestly appeared irritated or upset because we were not willing to wait any longer. If I filled was done Iâm sure she would have led with that when she came over to let us know that we have not been waiting that long. Our reservation was for 7 PM we did not leave until 845 without an entree. The managers excuse was that they were short staffed. Unfortunately that is not the concern of the guest. If the staff is short then you should have not seated guest that you cannot accommodate. We also had a reservation so Iâm not sure why our group of seven was not properly accommodated. We watched as people that came in after our table and ordered similar items to us were served and left before we even received our entrée. The overall experience was poor and we will not return to this restaurant. Our waiter was required to work our table inside and also work the outside patio table. He was nice and knowledgeable however we still lacked certain items such as complementary bread and timely water refills.
Iâm so disappointed I wasted date night and quite a bit of money for this place. The drinks were just ok, not worth the price. The short rib lumpia were good but not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. The khachapuri was not at all what it should have been. This was like pizza dough you get in the store that was killed in toppings that were not fresh - âwild mushroomsâ were straight up canned mushroom. The chicken tasted like precooked frozen chicken. All could really taste was garlic. Nor did they care that we didnât like it and didnât eat it. And there was this buffet that honestly looked and smelled terrible. We should have walked out right there. Will not be returning.
The lamb and vegetables were good at first, but started to make me queasy about halfway through due to all the oil. There was literally a puddle of oil on the plate that everything was swimming in.
I should have just had my Father's Day dinner here with my daughter and brother then going down to Hawkins great atmosphere great food great people bartender gentleman was awesome I don't know why I just didn't stay where I was at cancel my reservations at Hawkins and just stayed where I was at and enjoyed the food and atmosphere they had samples outside and they were phenomenal I should have stayed because Hawkins food was just nasty it was dry the rice was so dry I was choking on it the noodles was stuck together I'd made a comment on in the post but anyway escape tried to ice cream and pizza out of this world out of this world and the restrooms were spotless! Next time I'm there I'll try the hookah
Excellent location for Happy Hour and lunch in Riverside. Everything on the menu is yummy. Highly recommend the Trio and Khachapuri to share. The drink specials are great. Love the atmosphere and ambiance of this restaurant and Bar.
