No wait to be seated. It seemed to be short handed, our server was a bit overwhelmed but still managed to do a GREAT job of seeing we received the best service possible. The food was really good, fair priced and quickly prepared.
The food was good (as expected in a Denny’s) the hash browns was a little bit burn but the sandwich I had was good. The server was really nice even though she was running over 9 tables because they were understaffed. So please be patient as they’re doing the best they can.
This place is always short staff. Which sucks...last visit was bad. They had no produce so I couldn't get half of what I wanted. My order was wrong when it got to me. My to go order was made and bought to the table with my dine in meal. Waitress delivered my food then didn't see her again. Had to walk to the counter to get my box, bill and a refill.
If it was possible to give it less than one star I would. The biscuits might as well have been hockey pucks. The chicken tasted like it was under a half working heat lamp. The hash browns were pretty burnt along with the bacon and sausage. They were out of most stuff we asked for. The best thing about this place is how many parking spots are available. Should have taken that as a hint. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
I eat her a lot some days are good some are not so! Usually I have my order within mins. Not tonight! 04/05/2022 at 12:25 been there since 11:17! One waitress one don't know what she is see her from time to time! Must be the night manager! Don't do her job well granted it is a little busy and they poor little girl who is waiting fables is running here but off trying to get everyone taken care of with no help from her! Another waitress shows up around 12:25 and is helping but damage is done! Food quality needs looked into a different cooks prepare differently you might get if this way tonight but tomorrow it'll be different! Took about 10 min to get seated and a few to get my order taken! Waitress took 3 tables orders at once to try and get ahead but kitchen staff was slow!
This is a split vote service, restaurant and food. First the service. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess who turned out to be the manager and sat us right away and took our drink order. The place was not busy as we were only one of four tables with guests. The server came and asked if we were ready to order... this not a minute after we sat down. Asking for more time she returned again within a few moments, again we asked for a few more minutes... when ready guess who we couldn't find? That's right. Finally another server Deshya stopped and began her excellent service supported by her manager a real 5 ⭐ team. By the way the first server never showed up again. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken but guess what? No onions, mushrooms, peppers just chicken, potatoes and Broccoli... decided on creating a 4 choice Sampler Platter $12.69 at best 2 ⭐ as everything was bland and tasteless. Bill ordered the Lumber Jack Slam $10.99 3 ⭐ . Tick tock tick tock tick tock almost 30 minutes and my platter came out without chicken nuggets and Bills without toast.to top it off the sunny side eggs were over cooked and everything was cool to the touch so the kitchen gets 2 ⭐. Now the restaurant it's self. It is dated, dark, depressing and old. The parking are is large but dirty as is the uninspiring entry and building so 2 ⭐. We don't want to beat up on any establishment but with the exception of the manager and Deshya this location could get 2 ⭐... sorry but time for Denny's to take a serious look at this place. PS, even though the menu shows soup...no soup made or offered at this location 0 ⭐.
I recommend nothing about Denny’s. The Denny’s in Jacksonville Florida on Blanding Boulevard ran by the general manager Chris is the worst establishment I’ve ever been to. On March 2 2022 I placed a breakfast order for two steak and egg breakfast is on the Denny’s online ordering. When I went to pick up my order I was told by the rude waitress that they ran out of steak however no one has called or informed me of that prior to me arriving. Even though I did not receive my product or service is the waitress continue to process my payment and told me to contact Chris for a refund. I’ve been calling for the past two weeks to get my refund I have not received anything back. Every time I call I am told that I am too busy to assist you right now leave your number and I will get back with you. I am not asking for donation or a handout I am simply asking for a refund of my money for services and product that I did not receive. At this point I am highly frustrated that no one within the Denny’s corporation is assisting me with this matter
Christina was sweet and gave us everything we asked for far as condiments. Food was good and came out hot. We were the only ones in restaurant for a solid 20 mins so was quiet which was nice. No complaints ??
Had a great early morning breakfast late night munch. Still awesome food and of course very attentive service. Have to give it another try to gauge it during busy hours but for me it was a winner
After spending $75 they had the nerve to leave a whole meal off and one item off another meal an think replacing it was beneficial .... Nope run me my money back! Since I had to call you for you too acknowledge your mistake and come and pick it up.
