Deerwood Bistro had been on my list to try for awhile. I brought my family on a Saturday morning, and although busy it was not overly crowded with seating available. Instead of table service, you place your order and pay at the front register. My husband is not a fan of this nor having to tip prior to being served. Personally I don't mind, and prefer the self service for drink refills. I ordered the omelet with avocado and hash browns. It was tasty. My son ordered the ciabatta breakfast sandwich and devoured it. My husband ordered the corn beef hash and hash browns and felt the portions too small. Overall, I would try Deerwood Bistro again... just without my husband lol.
Good food, good prices
We had brunch on Sunday. You pay up front and get your own drinks . Food is delivered to the table promptly. This is necessitated due to wait shortages, but it worked for us a we had a quick turn around. The food itself was very good. I think this is the future for breakfast and lunch. Actually give them 4.5 stars.
Have never waited on a meal more than 10 minutes in this Restaurant! The regular cashier or hostess wasn't there so I'm assuming this new lady has taken over but she's not customer oriented and I do believe she never put my order in!!! One delivery went out then a 2nd delivery went out still no food!! Customer 2&3 recieved their food and I'm still standing with no food... unreal for this Dinner... I'm very dissapointed.
I went there three times a week for the last few weeks to get the same food item. I have been supporting this restaurant as long as I've been here in Jacksonville. This is the third time they've tried to slip an extra charge into my order and not tell me on the phone and wait until I get there to pick it up. A $1.50 cost This restaurant a multiple times a week customer. Called the manager and they didn't seem to care. So be it. I'll go elsewhere and won't return. Congratulations on your $1.50. Hope it's worth it
First time here. The staff was nice and accommodating for a party of 8 for breakfast but the food was pretty basic/average. The food came out fairly quickly. Friends said lunch is good but can get crowded.
I live nearby, but had never stopped in because I thought it was a sit-down lunch and dinner spot. It's actually a great, all-day breakfast and lunch fast-casual restaurant.Both the girl taking orders and the short haired women working the dining room were warm and friendly. The food was brought to our table within minutes and looked fantastic.The chicken salad was amazing! Served on grilled multigrain. The veggies were fresh and crisp.I'm excited to have a new lunch spot so close to home. We were in and out within 35 minutes. Can't beat that!
Love the food, and the service is excellent. Order at the desk as you walk in, then get your drinks and scope out a table while it's being prepared. Great local neighborhood restaurant for lunch or brunch with friends.
Best restaurant in Jacksonville to have an awesome breakfast and lunch. The staff is awesome, it’s always clean and the food is great. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that has that hungry feeling. I eat here frequently and will continue. Try it you’ll like it. Thumbs up to the owners.
