Okay pancakes, over cooked bacon. Waiter Logan was very attentive and nice. Beautiful flowers outside , Cracker Barrel also sells Rocking Chairs.
Sich a nice place to grab some good home cooked food with your family. Clean, courteous, and charming. The price isn't bad and as usual it's worth the money. Our wait wasn't long and our food was fresh and fast. No complaints from my daughter either. Staff was very polite and our server was helpful. The have a gift shop which is really cool too! I recommend this for any family gathering!
Kinda hidden so it was hard to find. 1/4 of their parking lot is being torn up, as well as the other side of their front porch area. The retail part in the front was full of clothes and other knick knacks. We were seated right away by the hostess. They brought a high chair for my kiddo to sit in. I ordered the chicken and dumplings with a side of hash brown casserole and coleslaw. I wanted to try their new Watermelon lemonade, but I was informed they were out. So I had the server make a strawberry lemonade instead. My daughter had the kids shrimp and fries with apple juice to drink. My friend had Coke with the Grandma Sampler meal. I added biscuits and one cornbread to our bread for the table since my daughter and I both got bread with our meals. Everything was dry though. I did put jelly on the biscuits but that still wasn't enough. The restaurant was mostly empty. The server disappeared for a little bit so we had to wait a moment to get the check and a box for my daughter's food. I'm not much for southern cooking, but I really like those chicken and dumplings. I couldn't finish my entire meal because there was SO much food. My meal was only $7.99 too. Not bad for how much food came with it.
Great staff. Faith was a very attentive server. I had not had a peach cobbler like theirs.

This was an awesome experience! It was our first time at a Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere was just perfect, not too quite, not too noisy, just perfect. Very nice restaurant theme. They have a souvenir shop at the entrance, very interesting.Wednesday around 11:30 am. Not crowded at all. Plenty of parking. No wait time to be seated.Friend was our waitress’ name. She was very friendly, happy, helpful, and very attentive with us. She gave us excellent recommendations food wise. Our food was ready quickly and it tasted very well. The quality and quantity of the food was very high. We enjoyed all of it. And their pancake/French toast syrup is amazing! Then we spent some money at their souvenir shop.
I love the Cracker Barrel on Chaffee the most because they are the most consistent in jax with portions and how good the food is. if you like fried porkchops on Saturday evenings this is your place! I wish they served porkchops every night though. and the store has some awesome real sterling silver jewelry reasonably priced and the cutest home decor. I highly recommend this restaurant for a reasonably priced meal and an relaxed and cozy family atmosphere.
I get a to go meal here almost every weekend. Love the Pot Roast and the meatloaf. But really love the vegetables even more... They are having squash casserole right now for a limited time. It's very good. Don't miss out on it. And I always get a loaded sweet potato that's always very good.
The food was great, I got green beans, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes… bacon bits on the side and added it to the green beans and it was delicious. Although there’s not a “gluten free” menu there are options available such as the fish (which you can ask to be made without seasoning and then ask for lemon on the side if you’re unsure of the seasonings), baked potato, carrots, veggies, etc which are all gluten free. Other family members enjoyed their food as well (burger, steak, and stew) it was not too busy at 11am so a table was readily available. Our server was very attentive and helpful.
The food and service was incredible. We didn't have to wait very long at all for anything waiter was incredible and always checking for anything we may have needed. They went above and beyond.
