The most Dee-Lish steak sub since I’ve moved to Jax in 1993. Close to the Philly cheese steaks I used to get in Baltimore at Captain D’s!!!
Had an app issue. The owner resolved my issue. Although it was a little headache the guy is an honest man and resolved the issue.
Went here today and I ordered a chicken Philly with nothing on it got it and onions peppers and mushrooms were on it and I took it all off and took a bite and there was hair cooked into the meat and cheese.
Absolutely delicious and a decent price too. If you love cheesesteaks you will love Charleys.
A friend of mine has autism and was taken advantage of. He ordered one sandwich, but charged for FOUR. Management said this was a mix-up, that they thought he'd ordered three #3 combos, and that they then threw away two of them. It doesn't make any sense to me.
Lee Young tried to charge my autistic brother for FOUR large Philly cheese steaks when he just ordered one. Because my brother is autistic, he didn’t know that one Philly cheese steak shouldn’t cost $65 so he swiped his card. It took someone else getting involved for my brother to get a refund. I’m sorry, but you don’t “accidentally” charge someone for four meals when they only ordered one. Avoid this place, they take advantage of people with disabilities.UPDATE: I received a call from the owner who was yelling at me that this was a misunderstanding and that I should remove my review. Turns out it wasn't just any employee that overcharged my autistic brother, it was the owner's WIFE. No, you don't "accidentally" charge someone for multiple sandwiches and only give the customer one sandwich. The owner's wife saw an opportunity to steal from a vulnerable person and she did. This isn't the first time this has happened to my brother. Mistakes do happen, but not mistakes that take $50 more than what the initial order was, only to be clarified after someone else calls you out on it. Instead of simply apologizing for the error or trying to rectify the situation, they called and screamed at me for three minutes insisting they are actually "good people".
My special needs son went here today and ordered a meal. They over charged him for FOUR meals. I used to think when these things happened it was an accident but he's been over charged too many times for me to be so trusting anymore. The cashier's name was Young Lee according to the receipt. Thankfully he had someone with him who recognized the error and took him back to get a refund of over $48.Update on the Philly Cheesesteaks... the owner of the store called Adea and wanted her to remove her review. They said that our son ordered a number 3 combo and they thought he ordered 3 so they made 3 and threw away 2. They have an autistic person in their family and would never do that. My question to that is then why was he charged for 4? Why didn't you give him all three sandwiches? Why didn't you offer him a refund until someone else brought it to your attention? This is gaslighting. People do this all the time to special needs families to make them think it was just a misunderstanding and to make them look like they are the crazy ones. Our son is less than 100 pounds. Nobody thought he ordered 3 giant sandwiches. If there is one thing he does know how to do it is order food. So there you have it. The owner didn't apologize, they backed up their employee. They asked us to overlook it. We will not.
Food not worth the price. We spent more for 2 meals then we would have had we gone to Outback across the street and the quality was not even close to the price. Nice people though.
Over priced food just for 3 subs with no fries??? They weren't even good for 50$ they're so slow making the food that I could've been a grandpa and I'm just 18 years old!! The Manger is mad rude and the dude making my order was as slow as a snail and couldn't hear me when I was speaking loud and clear the mayonnaise made the sub super soggy and almost throw up for that reason and when I asked for no tomato and STILL GOT THEM also the meat had no flavor and I checked if I had covid and got the sub again just incase and STILL TASTED NO SEASONING I would rather eat bat soup then come again
Dana and Dustiny knew how to take my wife order. Online stated vegetarian sub but when we got there took 15 minutes and two remakes to not put meat on the cheese streak. Jalapeños cheese steak I order got home it was regular cheese steak. This place been open for 4 days. Can they get it right?
