Even though it's not a Philly style cheese steak I will give them 5 stars because it is still some what tasty doesn't let me down and fairly priced! Junkyard fries are a bonus. FYI 2 of their employees I seen hot boxing a car in the parking lot then going inside to serve the cook line hope they washed their hands
After ordering food from this place with specific items excluded due to allergy. When returning to Charley’s, I was greeted with rude behavior and was told to pick the lettuce off and scrape the mayonnaise. Are you kidding me? Needless to say avoid this place unless you take it the way they make it! And god forbid you try to complain! It will be met with rudeness and plain nastiness from the manager to the employees. Never again. I hope this place will close soon and a real food place will open.P.s. I should have listened to the reviews from all over stating the same thing…. They NEVER get and order right. Don’t take my word for it, check Yelp and other review websites, they all say the same thing Charley’s needs to go away.
I have been to other Charlie's cheesesteak in other cities. I was excited to see this one opened up near my work been waiting a few days to go by when I arrived and set in line for about 20 minutes which I can understand it's hard to get staffing right now. I ordered the large Philly cheese steak and a drink came out to be almost 20 bucks. When I opened it up took the first bite it was burnt steak extremely dry the whole sandwich was just gross wasn't happy but maybe they're just getting used to things and getting their rhythm on how to cook.. definitely didn't get what I paid for.
Don’t go on a Sunday evening when Norman is the manager - he is pompous, in appropriate and treats his employees and customers as “insignificant” and he is better than everyone else. After we ordered we found out they ran out of celery - we asked about the refund and he only tried refund the celery and we said why’d we need ranch at which point his literally threw the money at me for the “ranch” refund. He also spoke to his cashier as if she was his “slave”. I realize everyone is having trouble getting employees but a a manager like Norman is NOT AN ASSET.
My daughter rated it a 4 and I a 2, so we compromised with a 3 star rating. It's overpriced in my opinion, customer service was seriously lacking with the younger teenagers working. There was one person who actually talked and was able to do something other than push a button on the register. We didn't know for $10 we weren't getting a meal, so we had to make a 2nd order for drinks and fries. The fries were good, cheesesteak sandwiches were okay, definitely not the best I've had.If the price was a little better and this location focused on customer service then I think it could be much better. I don't see returning very often if things stay the same though.
The wings are small and NOT worth the money. Sauce is not included in the wings which would insinuate that their are so good sauce is not needed. Perhaps this should be reconsidered. I mean it’s a fast food joint not fine dining. $14 for 10 wings and sauce is $0.60. Talk about disappointment.
Awesome team you guys have here!!! Food was awesome as well. ????
I used to go to Charlie's when I live in Ohio and I loved their food. My sister and I tried this new location on San Jose and we were not disappointed. They had a coupon for $5 off of your mail if you downloaded their app. The workers were very friendly and helpful by answering any questions you have. The food was nice and hot and delicious and the price was very reasonable. We both look forward to going back.
They made mistakes on first order weeks ago. They made it right this time to perfection. Fries were hot sandwiches were done correct. My I add these were the BEST cheese steaks I ate in sometime!!
Food is alright. Drive thru is small so the cars pile fast. The price for the food feels like a bit but I'm sure its normal for philly's, best in the world is a big stretch. It isnt bad but it isnt that much and isnt that amazing to stand out from or above another philly cheesesteak place. Without a coupon I wouldn't bother coming here and spending $12 or $14 a person
