Walked here from our hotel on a recent trip and we were so glad we did. Food was amazing, prices were reasonable and there were so many options. Cheese dip was more than typical price but we realized why when the huge bowl showed up a minute after ordering. Loved the artwork and decorations.
Good food at reasonable prices. Lots of menu choices. One way to tell a good Mexican restaurant is the refried beans. They are pretty authentic at Cantina Louie's. Great decor. The room acoustics make it a little noisy.
Dropped in during a recent trip of mine. Started off with a house margarita and some queso. Queso was giant, very good and could split with 4 people. I went on a Tuesday when they had a $2.99 a taco special. I enjoyed four different ones including the surf n turf which was my favorite.
Fantastic eatery! So glad we live nearby. My goal is to try everything on the menu. The Carne Asada was amazing! Baja salad was fantastic and HUGE! The chimichangas were delicious. Chips, salsa, and queso were great. The sangria was tasty and refreshing and the beers were cold. Highly recommend. Once you try it you will be a fan (as are we)! Don’t want to forget to mention the servers (shout out to Parker!) - super friendly and casual yet professional! You will be happy to up your tip for their superior service!

Been wanting to try this place for a while, since we first came to Jacksonville. Today was finally the day, and we weren't let down. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service, amazing atmosphere... Seeing a trend here? Cantina Louie is an amazing restaurant and we will be back!
Super great food! We got the chicken fajitas and I got shredded chicken tacos! Also the corn in the cob was so good!!
We went to visit this restaurant two times while in Jacksonville. We went on Taco Tuesday for 2.00 Tacos. I had the blackened shrimp tacos as well as several other tacos. We also order the fajitas and the fresh made guacamole. The food came quickly, and the staff was excellent. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked into the door. The prices were great and the decorations in the building were excellent. We will surely be return when back in the area.
The wonderful experience starts as soon as you enter the local. When you enter you get politely greeted by the front desk staff that later show you the way to your table.The waiters are always at your need and you recive excellent service. The restaurant itself looks just wonderful with the small hanging light the painting on the walls and the figures. I belive all of the following gives the place a better bond and costumer satisfaction effect upon entry. The food portions are big. The food tastes so wonderful that you just have to Take some for later. BEST RESTAURANT to wisit in Jacksonville. HIGHLY Recommend.
