We really enjoy coming to this location of the Burrito Gallery. It's just off of Gate Parkway and near the Town Center but not in Town Center so it's easy to get in and out without getting caught traffic. Everytime we have been there there is parking even during the Sunday afternoon rush.The staff is always friendly and the manager will sometimes comes to check on the patrons to make sure all is well.As for the food, it's always fresh and delicious with many options for even picky eaters... as long as you like Mexican American food. It's also all prepared in the open kitchen which is nice. There is a Center bar and plenty of spaces to eat, including an outdoor area. There is a television but it isn't so loud you can't have a conversation. My family and I have fun looking at all the artwork that is shared by local artists and the murals on the walls.Overall a it's a great experience and a family favorite.
Love the idea that they are pet friendly. Just be aware that on Thursdays they play corn hole so sitting outside with your pet might not be a good time for your pets . Think they start around 6pm.
This is part of a local chain of restaurants that sells simple, Tex-Mex type food. There really is not much to the place as it pertains to the menu that you would not already know. I have eaten here several times and always had food that tasted great with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and inviting. James and Jeff are great - from a welcoming bar to a well run kitchen. If you are in the Gate Pkwy area, there are a lot of food choices - but if you want to escape from the inner-St Johns Town Center crowd, grab a drink and a nibble away from the crazy, this is your spot. It is conveniently located near Ikea, as well, so if you are not full on Swedish meatballs, this is your taco/burrito bar.

Great food and atmosphere! Nice music. Customer service was beyond amazing! Brigitte was so friendly and sweet. Definitely will back when I’m in Jacksonville!
Amazing service and the food is great! I actually live walking distance from this Burrito Gallery, and I can say, it's my favorite of the group in Jacksonville. Aside from that, the menu selection is great, the staff is a lot of fun, and the environment is solid. A great place! Highly recommended.
I have visited most of the Mexican restaurants in Saint John and Duvall counties. This place has my all time favorite Salsa and guacamole. They also make their own sauce for their specialty burrito. I would pay money for this sauce and take it home. The place is large, modern and clean. I am to visit often and try out their other menu items. They get 5 stars for the food and service.
Good food limited menu. Our server did not mention the daily specials which are numerous. There is chalk board behind register with many items not on menu. Catfish, brisket,mahi fresh catch etc. Extensive bar and happy hour until 7pm. Overall a very good time and reasonable prices. Mission style or grilled fajita style we had the blackened shrimp mission style burritos, good flavor. I recommend giving it a try for lunch early dinner.
DISCRIMINATION but the food was good! I was treated differently here for the color of my skin and I am sure of it! I asked the lady in the purple shirt who said she was a MANAGER, if she can clean my table outside. She responded that she was busy and short staffed at the moment so it would be a minute. Then a white woman comes immediately after me and asks the same request. She cleans the white woman’s table outside as soon as she asked then proceeds to clean another table for a different white woman that had just walked out to the patio area. Meanwhile I asked first and I’m still sitting at a dirty table. She walks back inside and completely ignores my request. Why couldn’t she wipe my table and collect the dirty trays? Why did she choose to clean for the white ladies who asked AFTER me? How was she not busy to do theirs when I asked her FIRST? I am sure if my skin color was white she would have prioritized cleaning my table. It’s a shame how I was treated. Unethical and unfair! Thanks to HER manager who refunded my food but I’m still very much upset at how I was treated. It’s unacceptable on every level and this woman should be reprimanded. It’s 2022 in America but she chose to only clean for the whites and not myself because I am colored. I will never eat here again.
Wow, is all I can really say! This was my first time here & I was absolutely blow away at the ambiance of this place! Good food, good drinks, great atmosphere, friendly staff and very clean! Definitely a ten out of ten!
