Date: Spring 2022I would rate the food and location as "alright". The taste didn't wow me and the location had potential. It was nice for it to have outside seating, but it felt "cold" and not in a temperature sense, just nto welcoming. The bar area looked nice but I'm not a drinker so I can't comment much more on that. There are no outside trashcans if that matters.
Grub hub order … why would you guys serve me overly cooked tacos hard and cold shell the shell was over cooked I use to come in here and buy tacos this really has me heated. You can see the SOFT SHELL is cracking because it’s super hard and over cooked. Lost my business. Called to report this order and no answer to phones.

Idk what happened, but this place is not the same anymore from when they opened. The freshness of the food is not there. Prices went up and every time I order takeout it's either hard or the order is wrong. This time it was quality issues. Hard pork, hard taco so bad you can't even bite into it. I had a whole birthday party here 4 years ago and just that fast the place has went down. Probably is my last time ordering here at this location. I'm officially turned off by it.
It’s a clean casual quick service place where you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There’s a bar in the back also.The food is mediocre and on the bland side. It’s pretty much what you would expect at Chipotle (which is also next door). They need to add some flavor or something to the food (although they may be catering to clientele who prefer it this way).I also did not like that customers who order food for takeout hover over the station area where your food is set out waiting to be brought out to your table.
Very negative experience at the Burrito Gallery on Riverside Avenue.There were some pretty serious issues here -The restaurant was not clean. There were numerous tables which had not been cleaned which resulted in birds flying in and snatching leftovers and deficating near active diners in the process. Food and garbage was on the floor and NOT picked up by staff after multiple passes.Our food was delivered at awkwardly different times resulting in some food becoming cold while waiting for other food to arrive. Our orders were incorrect. Fish instead of chicken on one and missing ingredients on another. (The group that ordered ahead of us also had significant food delays.)AND, the staff uses a bit of trickery to keep you from dining upstairs. This seems rather bizarre considering how lovely the upstairs deck is on a spring day.I assume the staff does not appreciate the inconvenience of delivering food to the second floor.They tell you can't eat upstairs after you are finished ordering and paying.Why have the space upstairs if your staff does not want customers to eat up there?This is rather unfortunate and I immediately wonder if general manager is an active participant in this ridiculousness.STUPID.And guess what? You have now lost us as customers.Go next door to Chipotle or if you want drinks and better food go down the road to Anejo Cocina Riverside where the staff will welcome you and not engage in silly strategies to keep you where it is convenient for them!
Don't confuse this place with Mexican food. Just cause they wrap their food in a tortilla and put hot sauce on the table doesn't make it real. If this was advertised as NY style burrito, then I'd give it 4 stars. Not hating, just no mex flavor.
Always great food. The service was wonderful today as well. Granted, we were there near opening, but they are usually pretty friendly. Nachos are a great value and definitely shareable as a meal for 2.
Exciting, busy, fast paced environment with great food. The staff was great, very polite and attentive. Everybody stayed busy the entire time I was there. I got some food to go Friday night after some recommendations from friends. I ordered old school nachos and two chicken tacos. The only "problem", if you could even call it that, was that I got steak tacos even though I ordered chicken. For me, that wasn't an issue, more of a pleasant surprise. As busy as they were, if that was the only mistake they made, they're doing a phenominal job! I would definitely recommend them and I will be going back, hopefully sining in next time!
Awesome burritos! Queso is delicious on top. I had the steak burrito and the wife had the taco salad. Only complaint is that the lettuce had some heal parts
