authentic and delicious !
Pho is our go to at this point for a comfort meal. We decided to try Bowl of Pho for the first time. I'll start by saying this place was busy, our server was great for how busy it was. Attentive and gave us everything we asked for in a timely manner. The special dry noodle was wonderful, the grilled beef and shrimp sausage were both great. Highlights of the meal. The Pho... quite underwhelming for me. The soup itself lacked in flavor from what I've had. I don't like to add much to my soup because I enjoy the purity of the soup, this bowl of soup just did not WOW me. It was good, not great. I prefer my soup a little more aromatic and with more of the sweet spices I expect from a good bowl of Pho. The beef balls were good but more dense then I'd like, the tendon was good as well.We would try it again. Solid. Just not OUR favorite. Chili oil was delicious, should offer it on the table as a condiment.
Overall the food was well prepared, and generous portions, but the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was half the items had cilantro which I requested to be left off as I cannot stand the taste of cilantro, and the soup that was labeled as spicy honestly had no spice level to it at all which was disappointing compared to the description as a spicy soup.
This is my favorite restaurant!
We were tired and hungry when we got to Jacksonville. It was a chilly, rainy night and a bowl of pho sounded really good. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is simple and it looked like a nice "go to place" for people who live in the area. Our server we pleasant and the pho was good. There are two sizes of bowls you can select. We were hungry so we ordered the large - and they sure are large.
My friends and coworkers have raved about this place for years. I finally gave it a try (to-go order). I ordered the BBQ pork and wonton egg noodle soup. The pork was tender, but it did have a few fatty pieces. Whenever I go back, I will probably order the wonton soup next time since I'm picky about fatty cuts of meat. That aside, the food was absolutely delicious!
Definitely a great family restaurant. The P1 is the house pho with everything (rare beef. meatball, tendon and more). Guaranteed to go home full and happy.
Considering the quality and the price this is a great place! The staff remember you and treat you very nicely. Everything is fresh and homemade. I’ve had a lot of dishes here of the huge selection and have not disliked anything really. Try the P11 or the bbq fried rice. The tea is great too!
So delicious & HUGE MENU! The sweet and salty lemonade was so good & fresh (I believe that’s the name of it) I requested to have my udon stir fry without the meat so it would be just shrimp and veggies & it was perfect. They had no problem accommodating my request. So much flavor and perfect portions. Will be going back!
First time here. Stayed the night in Jacksonville and looked for a nice Pho place to eat. We weren’t disappointed. I ordered the grilled pork spring roll and beef fried rice. My wife order the rare steak Pho and shrimp spring roll. The food was amazing!! The staff was great and there was hardly no wait time at all. This will be a place to come back to.
