I'm new to town and I've ordered from here 4 times this month. The pineapple fried rice is addictive. The curry is wonderful and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and attentive always. My orders were right every time and the food hot and fresh. Awesome. I will be back!!

Ordered Pad Thai and it was the worst I’ve ever had! If you are looking for something sweet rather than spice then their Pad Thai is for you. My husband and I ate 2 bites and asked to only pay for 1 plate considering we did not like it. The response the owner had for us was “you have to pay for both the moment you ordered it”First off, the place was empty and only 1 to go order was placed while we were there and they asked for a good review. Do not trust the reviews provided the owner gave them a deal to put in a five star.

This review is based on two experiences with Bounxou Thai. The first experience was with Uber eats, which I assumed was the issue. I will address that after explaining tonight's awful experience. I wanted Thai for Mother's Day dinner so I ordered take-out at 5:51pm. The person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes. My husband went to pick up the food and while he waited (30 minutes after I ordered via phone) patrons were seated, ordered, and served. After complaining about this they finally started cooking our take-out order. He left with our order at 7:25pm....1 hour and 34 minutes after I ordered. Normally he would have left long before, but it was Mother's day...wish he had left and brought home 5 star pizza from next door. The food tonight was bland, disappointing, cold, hot served to heat requests, and we had an entree on our order we didn't order but were charged for. My husband was so frustrated by the time he checked out that he didn't even notice. Several months ago we ordered from this same restaurant via uber eats. 1.5 hours later after two drivers left without our food I called and restaurant and was told they were "busy" and they were extremely rude. I told them to cancel the order and then had to dispute with uber eats. NEVER again. Horrible food, TWO horrible experiences.

Great food and great service. I had the pineapple fried rice. The taste and presentation were excellent and the portions were very generous. Some of the menus had different prices however. One of the menus had a sticker that listed Thai iced tea at $3 while another menu had $3.50.

We luckily found this place when the place we were headed to was closed. Wife ordered the Coconut Crab Rice and Thai Tea. I had the Shrimp Curry. Everything was great and fresh. Staff was awesome. I was looking forward to having my wife's leftovers for dinner the following night, bu she had eaten them for lunch. We returned the following Friday and I ordered the Coconut Crab Rice and my wife ordered the Lobster Curry. Great again! This place makes eating local fun.

This hidden gem in a small strip mall was a welcome surprise . Relaxed old school feel hits the mark. Full flavor food with ample portions . Friendly staff adds to the experience . Lunch special come with soup and spring roll . Both well made and tasty . Visited a few times and every dish was great tasting . Pick you fav and heat level . You will not be disappointed .

This is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to, and I eat A LOT of Thai food. I drive all the way across town to come to this restaurant. My favorite dish is the Pad Thai, and I am very particular with how it is made and tastes. It is made absolutely perfect at this restaurant. You can tell the chefs put a lot of love into their food, it isn’t rushed together. The sauce is sweet and savory, with a perfect amount of peanuts, green onion, egg and bean sprouts for that subtle crunch. I usually get tofu, and it is the best tofu ever with a semi crunchy exterior and soft inside, cooked to perfection every time. Not to mention they give you a generous portion! The prices are great, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Very beautiful, clean, calming restaurant if you want to dine in.I have tried 7 different Thai restaurants in town, and Bounxou tops all of them. Do yourself a favor and try them out! Perfect for date night, or just grabbing food to-go. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall it was the worst dine-in experience my husband and I had. We were completely disappointed with our food. Then to make it even worst when we let the waitress know we did not like the food served she said she can’t take it back because her boss will yell at her. She asked if we would like to order something else and frankly we didn’t care to eat something with the same overpowering basil flavor. They’re food is not authentic Thai food in any manor. We made the mistake of visiting this place. Another detail about the food was it tasted old and on the verge of spoiling. I can’t believe the waitress had the nerve of charging us for food we hated and despised. I would not recommend to my friends and family to eat here. If I were you skip this restaurant and go someplace descent.

Ordered delivery through a service. Food arrived as expected but we found it to be incredibly bland.Tom Yum soup was very watery. Very little flavor. It was missing the distinct tang the soup usually has. I've ordered this at dozens of Thai restaurants but this was the first time I've actually disliked it.Pneugug curry was also very bland. Overwhelming coconut without much curry flavor. It was made very mild. We are used to this dish being medium hot to very hot depending on the restaurant but this was as mild as it could come.I don't recall the name of the other dish but it was similarly bland. The salt came through more than anything. We were really disappointed overall. Perhaps they were too afraid to make the dishes spicy and flavorful because it was for delivery? If that was the case it would be nice if they asked for spice level for the items.Food was editable and seemed to be prepared cleanly. Just not much flavor. Lots of other Thai places in town to try but we were surprised by the rating here compared to the quality.
