Umm the quality of service and food shouldn't change when closing. I didn't receive my correct order. I was missing items, my pulled pork was dry and I had to speak with 3 different people and there was not much empathy.It will be awhile before I order from them.
Came in for lunch on a weekday, wasn't too busy. Food was hot and service was decent. Had pulled pork, bakes beans, and mac-n-cheese.
My husband and I eat lunch at this location on some Thursdays. This past visit was not pleasant, and we departed prior to getting our food.The server rolled her eyes, and made comments when I told her how I wanted my meat. When I asked her if my food was ready, she stated in a very rude way that when it is ready, she will bring it to me. Walking a way murmuring, so I said, when you bring it, I will need a box and the bill so I can leave when I want to. She brought the box and bill and I said I will pay when you bring the food. It was after 1:00, and we had a Technition meeting us at 2:00 at home. She turned and made a few comments pertaining to our leaving. My husband had heard enough of her rudness and let her know it wasn't up to her when we leave, but us. We left hungry. We have always had good service prior to this week.
Waited over an hour and 15 min after we ordered, no food. We watched 3 tables come in after us, get their food, pay and leave. When asked a third time about our food, manager said, made that order, but don't know where it went. Holiday or not, they're were plenty of employees, will not be back. Quite a few of my friends go up there, I'll get em to stop. Thanks for basically ruining our holiday.
Wasn’t greeted when being seated. Server Jessica W. was very cold toward my mom and myself. She didn’t speak 2 words to us the whole time we were guests at the restaurant. Food was good as always other than prices being so high, just surprised and the stand off of the server.
First time ordering to-go at this location, no long wait and the food was hot and fresh. The Mac and cheese was okay, could have been better but the banana pudding and baked sweet potato was so good that I wanted more!
Haven't had a bad meal here. The reason this visit wasn't 5 stars was only because almost half of an appetizer came out still frozen. The server was amazing and even after we told her she didn't need to do anything she still went above and beyond and took it off the bill.
We just moved here and always smell the bbq going into Publix. We finally ordered the Sunday feast. It was lots of food for a decent price. It did not disappoint. The service and food was outstanding.
I'm an out of towner from NJ. Landed in Jacksonville and my mom picked me up and drove us straight there. Slab of ribs , delicious ??
I order here all the time. Usually the food is pretty good today's order was totally ducked up first you guys short changed me on my order i paid for a large and got a small portion and secondly the ribs were as tough as shoe leather and the whole meal was ice cold. Thoroughly disappointed.Edit Follow up - Came back to Bono's food is perfect hot crispy fries big juicy ribs and super tender. Fast freindly service. Everyone is entiltled to a second chance. I will keep coming back.
