Usual everything here is amazing, but the food really fell short this time around.

Date night

Food was under seasoned (we couldn't taste any salt/flavor on our fish), crabmeat tasted metallic (as if it came from a can). Disappointing overall in my opinion.

Had a little trouble getting seated, but we worked it out. The waiter was good and the food arrived in good time. My wife thought her food was quite good. I thought my food was just OK.

I would rate 0 stars if I could, the whole experience was a disappointment. Hostesses tried to seat us on a table miles away from society, not kid friendly and food was below average. We regretted going there for brunch on a Sunday as visitors

What a fantastic find this neighborhood restaurant was one of the top five on my list to take my husband for his birthday and they did not make this an easy task to get through everything on the menu was looking and sounding so good and scrumptious. From the seafood choices to steak and on top of everything else desserts such as Cream brulee, strawberry shortcake and decadent cheese cake brownies! This was a great find and I could not be more happier especially being served by a wonderful waitress named Miss Candy. Great way to celebrate 🥳🥂

Poor slow service. Food was barely room temperature and poorly cooked.

Me and my wife’s first time trying this place and I must it was nothing to be remembered. Though the seafood is fresh, as in tastes fresh out the water, the seasoning or lack there leaves much to be desired. My wife ordered the blackened salmon topped with lump crab meat with spinach and jasmine rice. The salmon came out burnt not blackened. The server argued at the behests of the kitchen it was not burnt it was just the fish we chose. After a little back and forth we had them just bring a grilled piece of salmon with lump crab meat instead. It came out perfect. I had the Snapper (fried) with scallops and shrimp, fresh vegetables and orzo. Though the dish was good it didn’t live up to the 32 dollar price tag in terms of flavor and presentation. Same goes with my wife’s dish. We also had the Louisiana crab dip. It was a well balance cheesy garlic forward dip. Overall a would visit again just with lower expectations.

Reserved a table with your page. Sat at the bar for a few minutes before we sat. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back. Pleasant atmosphere too.

If you like your bacon crispy, I suggest going elsewhere…the Fox or maybe The Brick down the street. We asked for crispy bacon and well done breakfast potatoes and were informed that it was not possible. Really?!! That’s equivalent to telling me you can only make one type of egg. Asked to speak to the manager to make him aware…and he could not have cared less. Plenty of other great spots in Avondale to dine…I won’t be back.
