The food was AMAZING!!!! The cornbread was even good, really good. When my husband and I walked in, I knew we'd struck gold!
You eat with your eyes and nose first ... After seeing the buffet style layout of the food that is dumped into a to-go plate - I passed. Nothing looked nor smelled fresh, and as a kitchen technician I can spot canned from a mile away. Canned sweet potatoes, canned glory greens - how insulting to charge that much for heating up precooked canned food. Yukk!!I will accept the invitation. Should I just stop by or do you need to schedule a time and day?? Who cuts the greens? You only mentioned the sweet potatoes.
It took to long for my order I walked in there was 5 people in line 1 person fixing food and cashing out. Not a good sign but I still stayed in line. I ordered ribs they were boiled nasty tasted like they were left over, macaroni and cheese nasty no taste just a bunch of cheese , yams taste like they came out the can they were okay, collard greens were good, cornbread good. I ordered a slice of red velvet cake it tasted like a box cake not impressed at all. So overall you need at least 2 ppl up front because the person in the back didn’t help just keep putting out food the lady that was in the front looked like she was burnt out from being by herself. This isn’t real soul food I will not be returning wasn’t empress and I spent 28 dollars.
I liked the food but the speggtti was salty like they empty 2 boxes of salt in it but everything else was good.
The young lady who served me was sweet and accommodating. Very friendly and patient. First time going and over all a good experience. Food was hot. A little pricey but most soul food is. The cashier was ok
Very good food, Price point is what you would expect for a dine in experience. Staff was nice and made sure we understood the menu choices.

I ordered the oxtail plate looking at the plate I could tell that it was cubes of beef in it which was not oxtails. Got my order wrong twice before I receive the right order. 2 Star because the food tastes good but the portion was not worth the money.
They have raised their prices but quality and quantity are still very good
Oh my goodness some of the best soul food I've had in a while and they arent stingy with the portions either I now found my spot I hope that you cube get food at this place you won't regret it
