Delicious 5 star foodAwesome serviceBeautiful ambience was a bonus!Perfectly seasoned ribeye, the best poutine I've ever had, and good creole style shrimp and grits. The peach cobbler fundae was immaculate as well.
Came here with my son and a friend We're we're seated on the rooftop which was less than half full... No waitress no menu until 15 min later when I asked the hostess for one. Ordered two burgers one well done and one medium well . Also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and oysters as well. The burger that was ordered medium well came out medium sent it back and it came out like a hockey puck! The chicken was so bland there could not have been any seasoning on it. Sent it back. Oysters were good but very small not worth 16$ for 1/2 dozen. Drinks mediocre.. overall will not be back!!
Black Sheep Rooftop for Easter Brunch⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We had a 10am rooftop reservation and were seated immediately. For a starter, we shared the Maple Bacon Crullers. The crullers were light and had a sweet cinnamon butter taste which was a great base for the maple frosting and bacon on top. Our entrees included the Black Sheep Club with fries and (2) Steak and Eggs. The club sandwich was huge but my daughter enjoyed every messy bite. Our steaks and eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fingerling potatoes were delicious from soaking up the buerre rouge.Every part of our dining experience here was outstanding. The ambiance, food, and service will have us returning soon.
We had an absolutely delicious meal, sitting on their rooftop patio as the sun was setting over the horizon. Started with the fried olives which lived up to the hype, plus shoe string fries and an off-menu pimento cheese spread. Our group had the bulgogi beef, Springer Mountain Farm's chicken and two plates of the shrimp and grits. Everything was flavorful and well-plated, good portions, happy all around. Waiting on our fancy desserts now. Prices match the quality so plan ahead, but absolutely worth a visit.
Just ok. I saw so many reviews on a lot of different websites so I was eager to try… it was fine. Service was fine. Food was fine. We wanted seafood so that was one of the reasons we choose black sheep. If you were deciding between this restaurant and another one. I would choose the other. We got the eggplant, ribs (pretty good), brussels (would get again if I had to go back) , roasted oysters (yum) , pumpkin drink and sage n gin drink (not sweet… waitress indicated it was sweet). Enjoy if you go
went to this restaurant in February food was to die for tonite the food to die from .............totally disappointed
Sat on the rooftop on a beautiful day! Matt was our waiter-very efficient. We had roasted oysters, fried okra, French onion soup, trout roe spread with crackers-all excellent!
Great local spot with various food fare. We went for dinner but the appetizers were calling our name. Macky was a great server and went above and beyond. True customer service and food was delicious. Mrs had mussel's and was literally licking her fingers.
Had the duck and lamb and both were very delicious. The google app did not allow me to reserve the rooftop like I added in my notes. But Black Sheep friendly staff was able to find me a spot.Thank you
Food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good. Sometimes it’s OK / edible. And sometimes it’s just so bad - inedible. Same dishes you get - and you never get the same thing. Salty to the point of unbelievable: do they have a chef here? Does anyone taste the food that comes out of the kitchen? We were told the restaurant group that owns this place changed the chef for Black Sheep recently. Well, it doesn’t feel like this has made much of a change here, unfortunately… I’d skip this place and go to Orsay instead… That place (in the same restaurant group) usually doesn’t disappoint - the food is consistent. It’s a shame for Black Sheep: such a gorgeous rooftop and a beautiful restaurant, but it lost its way a few years ago, and it can’t seem to find it back…
