This will be my last visit to Bentos. The food is good, overpriced, but good…everything else is terrible. Customer service has completely tanked. The staff isn’t even mildly friendly anymore…they act as if your patronage is burdensome. Not a single diner in the place on a Saturday night and I can certainly see why. $100 order and then they want to charge you additional for sauce. But you’ll have to swipe a card to add on a small cup of sauce because taking $0.75 in cash is too much trouble. This is America…. Cash is a LEGAL FORM OF TENDER. There are too many sushi joints in Jax to ever spend another dime here.

Ordered from Uber Eats last night, and got a bowl and Florida roll... I had a few bites and threw it away... the chicken's texture was rubbery and it didn't even taste like chicken. The sushi had barely any tuna or salmon in it and was warm and not great! To make matters worse, I woke up in the middle of the night not feeling well at all! Save your money or go to one of the million other sushi restaurants at the beaches!
Food has been good each time we've visited. I think they've worked out some understandable small issues since first opening. So far, so good!
On average they’re 45-60 mins late on pickup orders. No apologies. Dining in takes about the same, even if you’re the only party in the restaurant. Service is terrible, no f’s are given.

BENTO is the best place to get your poke bowls! You can custom them yourself: they have many different options of toppings, proteins, and sauces! Everything is so tasty, big crush on the shitake mushrooms. The portions are perfect, the regular bowls are big enough for anybody to feel completely full after eating the entire thing. The place is really pretty and well decorated! I also liked that we can see the chefs making the sushi or the bowls from across the counter.Last thing that need to be told is the quality of the staff member. They are very welcoming and friendly, and they are super helpful. Eric took our orders and he gave us a very great customer service.It was delightful and definitely the only place I'll get my pokebowls at!
I forgot that Bento opened up a Jax Beach location close to where I work, so I was excited to remember and try it out. The gochujang garlic rice bowl was delicious, along with the side of spicy edamame. I'm definitely making it a regular lunch spot.
Highly recommend. I’ve been twice and for fast casual it is excellent and adds good competition for some of the other similar concepts locally. Normally I wouldn’t support a chain over local, but I prefer Bento now as it’s just as fast, fresher and also staff is friendly/professional as opposed to some of the local places.
$44.00 for 2 combo boxes with a soda ugh! Bet part were the egg rolls and the green beans. They were out of brown rice, Mongolian beef was szechuan albeit mild, orange chicken was part overcooked part cold. Pointless being assigned numbers, orders came out haphazardly and had no number association. ?
