Celebrated my husband's Birthday dinner at BB's Restaurant yesterday and had a fabulous time. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Brittney was so knowledgeable about the drink and dinner menu and we went with everything she suggested. They definitely know how to make a couple visiting from out of town feel special. I could of ate the shrimp lollipops all night and my hunni loved the duck wontons. We can't wait to return. Oh, the ambiance is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. The Birthday Cake of choice was EXCELLENT... we chose the carrot cake. We give it 10/10 #love ❤️
Had a fantastic experience last night at bb’s! We had planned on grabbing some delicious cake slices to go, but noticed a few outdoor tables so we decided to stay! My husband had the salted caramel mocha cake, which was incredible, and I had the white chocolate raspberry cake with an amazing layer of cheesecake. I loved it! Bartender Cory B took excellent care of us during our visit and we can’t wait to return!
Definitely a five out of five! Atmosphere was great, service with Kate C was fabulous, and food was so delicious! Their calamari with their light sauce was out of this world and we had the Short rib pappardelle home made noodles dinner which was out of this world also! They have popovers with your cocktails which was so good! Cannot write enough good things about this restaurant
Had lunch at BB’s two of my four days here, same waitress Kayleigh both times, best ever for sure. Menu items very unique & excellent tasting at reasonable prices.
My son treated me to brunch for Mother’s Day. First time for the both of us and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. The food was cooked to order and plates arrived to our table fresh and hot. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I’ll definitely be going back in the future!
This small restaurant has been a favorite of ours for years. The food is amazing! We loved the steaks and the duck wonton appetizer. I wish they would bring back their lamb chops. Oh, and there's so many desserts to choose from, which are also amazing!
The ambiance is great. The bartender is terrific. The menu is limited -- unlike the wine list -- but everything is perfectly executed and presented. I was both surprised and delighted by the care the kitchen took in both preparation and presentation.
I am hesitant to review it as this is our little hidden gem in Jax. Quaint, so reservations are suggested with only 4 outdoor small tables. It took us four tries to get there but once you do, you will be back. The Charcuterie Board was amazing. The salmon tartar as well. And the desserts....oh my! Nice Beer and Wine List. Can be pricey depending on your selection but everything we had in two visits was excellent as well as the service. See you in May Ashley!
I have been to BB's restaurant several times in the last 2 years. The Scallops were on point. grilled to perfection juicy in the middle. the sauce gave it a nice twist. very filling too. Ofcourse I had to have some appetizers and last but not least the bread pudding was a delightful finish to a great meal.
Major props to this chef and kitchen staff. Our food was interesting, delicious, and well priced given the exquisite taste. We don’t live here and I don’t know when we will be able to make it back. So….. can y’all go and report back so we can live vicariously? Seriously, if this gem existed in Raleigh we would eat here at least one a week. Icing on the cake….Mondays are half priced wine night. What???!!! All in all, we had a perfect experience here and am pretty sure everyone else will too. Cheers!
