We discover this Cambodian restaurant while on vacation in Jacksonville Florida. It's authentic Cambodian cooking, clean and cozy to enjoy our late lunch. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the owner, Nin.
The moment you walk in the ambiance was nice . Smelled and looks clean, even the bathroom was clean. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. You won’t be dissatisfied!! Overall it was yummy and the service was great! My family and I will be back for sure.
The first time I’ve been to a Khmer restaurant in Florida and they did not disappoint! I got the house loat cha (Cambodian rice pin noodles). Delicious! It takes me back to street food in Cambodia. The flavor was on point, very much like my mom’s homemade cooking. The owner of Banana Leaf chopped up a fresh papaya to make me a refreshing papaya boba. Much needed after the beach. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. The decoration correlates with their name with banana leaves throughout. You can tell the owners take lots of pride in their restaurant. They also have a drive-up window option if you call ahead. Definitely will be visiting Banana Leaf again when in Jacksonville. I’m excited to try their mee katang and somlor curry! If you’re in Jacksonville, check them out!
So I was the mood for some Cambodian food, and decided to come here for a late lunch. The owner greeted us and started to talk to us for a bit, I really enjoyed that she took the time to really interact with us!To Drink is taro smoothie boba, My favorite! My dish of choice is the beef Loat Cha, add a little siracha, and some chili oil; yummy. (We ate it all) I also ordered a bahn mi sandwich to take home. My overall experience was great, food was good, service was good, price was good for the food portion! Will definitely be back!
The food here is always good. I have pictures from my beef stew from .a few weeks ago and the chicken curry with bread I ordered today. I also usually get a milk tea but I drink it so fast I forget to take a picture.Staff is so nice too, just an awesome place
We were super excited to FINALLY find a Cambodian resturant. Definitely recommend this place. Great service and the food was really good and authentic. We'll definitely come back again when we come back to visit Jacksonville. We had Phnom phenh noodles, chicken congee, egg rolls and the beef stick meal and it was AMAZING. Customer service was also great too. ?
A hidden gem, Cambodian restaurant run by a lovely couple who knows their food and customer service at best. I visited JAX for three days and on day one during my lunch here, I decided to go the next days to try out the rest of the menu. Everything on the menu is great, from the appetizers, soups, to the entrees. I’m a bad picture taker but the lemongrass chicken soup, lort cha with chicken and fried egg, Phnom Penh noodles (broth soup), egg rolls, rice porridge (bor bor) are amazing - yep definitely tried to order the whole awesome menu. Don’t let the parking lot or strip mall exterior fool you! The inside of the restaurant, decor, and bathrooms are nice and clean! Definitely one of my favorite Asian food restaurants. They are looking to hire service staff and it’s tough filling it - so service may be a little slow during peak times - but don’t let that discourage you! The wait is worth the food beyond measure.
So happy to have found this hidden ? Writing the this review after going back for 4th time. Every time the staff is very nice & upbeat. Food is always hot and fresh. Inside is comfy, modern and super clean.
This place is a surprise with great dishes friendly atmosphere unclean presentation food is Coke precisely to order the waiting is a little bit but the results are correct
Upon arrival, we were received with open arms and greeted like family. The food was just as great as the service. We each got the large 15A pho and shared the spring and egg rolls. The food came out really fast with perfect timing. 10/10 experience! Will come again.
